We are staying onsite for the first time at Pop in less than 2 weeks!!:banana::banana:

I know the kids will find something they like, and decided that the brown water served warm is NOT for us. (DH and I met working together at Starbucks. Ahem.....we are bringing our own coffee maker and coffee.:snooty:)

But I need to know from the experts....what do we eat for lunch and dinner?? So many things look good. What's your favorite?:cake:

TIA!!:flower3:

I ate Pizza and the Chicken Parmesan.

I also tried the Tye-Dye Cheesecake, it was not like any Cheesecake I have tasted before! I won't be getting it this next trip.

I really liked the Chicken Parmesan with Penne Pasta. way better than I was expecting. DH liked the Chicken Parmesan with green salad. They also have a huge variety of desserts, but personally I didn't like the tye dyed cheesecake. It doesn't even taste like cheesecake.

I too will be going to POP, but in Sept. All the food at POP (including the Chicken Parm/ Penne Pasta, etc) is CS - correct? Does that include your main entre, desert and a drink (ie soda)?

Yes it is a CS including dessert and drink.

Great thanks!! It looks like the Chicken Parmesan is a winner, and I'll definitely try it. Ditto the pizza. Is there anything else?

What about the flatbreads or the lomein? Any opinions??

Overall, I find the food at POP very good for a food court. I also like the Chicken. And the cheesesteak wrap, the Chicken Mediterranean flatbread, the Big Bowl Chicken Soup and the LoMein.

I think the variety of food available is also very good.

I think the shrimp lo mein is the best! The fried chicken dinner is pretty tasty too, though.

We love the cheesecake - so it's all a matter of opinion.

I actually love the tie-dye cheesecake! When we went in January, I think I ate 3-4 pieces in 1 week. I thought it did taste like cheesecake, but there is a spongy layer on the bottom too--YUM!
We got the reuben flatbread--and it was so good!!! We didn't eat there too much (we had the deluxe dining plan), but I did enjoy that flatbread very much.
We also got a hot fudge sundae which was really good--although I've never found a sundae I didn't like!

I love the tie-dye cheesecake. I had one each night in bed (accidentally tie-dyed the sheets). I can see how some people wouldn't like it - it's a more spongy consistency than some cheesecakes.

In our eight night stay last summer there was really nothing at the POP foodcourt that the 2DD's and I did not like.
I just wish they kept it open later so that you could get something to eat after getting back from the parks after they closed:thumbsup2

Dinner I always get the Turkey dinner with Mashed Potatoes.......The kids always get the disney mac and cheese.....

The spongy layer used as a 'crust' is actually red velvet cake...yum! I personally enjoyed the food at Pop. We weren't on a dining plan last trip, so spent quite a few meals dining in the food court. I liked it because if I felt like Italian one night, my husband asian and my son chicken...we were all satisfied. We even ordered a room delivered pizza that was good. They also have refrigerator cases in the back that have all sorts of goodies. My husband would usually go down in the am while I was getting everyone ready and grab bagels and a fruit bowl. We would eat breakfast in the room everyday like this and saved quite a bit of money and time.

ETA: The crust I was talking about was on the Tie-Dye Cheesecake.

I like the chicken fingers with honey mustard and the Chicken Parm with Penne and breadstick is great!!
The chicken ceasar salad is yummy too!

We really like the food court at POP.

I agree with the other posters, the chicken alfredo with penne and the chicken parm are really good, the whole family loves them! We have had the flatbreads in prior years, but this year didn't have one, this is something they seem to change the flavors of-we have had ham and brie in the past, but I think this year it was something different. The shrimp lo mein is yummy and is a lot of food. DD had the big noodle soup bowl and she really liked it too.

In past years we have also gotten sundaes with snack credits, we didn't this year, but I think you still can.

OP here...

Yum!! Sundaes with snack credits, why didn't I think of that!!??!!

So I'm looking forward to......well really most everything! Thanks everyone for your great responses.

I know one person mentioned the turkey dinner. Are any of the mom's night out meals good??

The breakfast croissants are yummy, and for lunch the Shrimp Lo mein and the Reuben Flatbread were my favs....I also like the tie-dye cheesecaks although am not sure food that is that colored is good for you :rotfl: I also have a huge weakness for the cupcakes! And LLOOOOOVEE that you can get perier as your drink on the meal plan - it's awesome! A lot of the TS meals will not inclde Perrier!
