We will be arriving on 1/24 and spending the first night at CSR then transferring to SSR for the rest of our stay. I have learned alot from the threads about using bell services to transfer our luggage. However I have a laptop for work that I am uncomfortable turning over to someone else and also need to be able to access it in an emergency for work. If we visit a park on the transfer day are there lockers I can leave it in at the parks?
Once we are in SSR I have no problem leaving it in the room.

How have you handled this?

By the way, I just saw the pizza delivery thread in the dining section and we will try the Giordano delivery. That pizza looks awesome!:woohoo:

Every park has lockers for a fee. To be honest, I'm not sure which resorts still have safe deposit boxes but I know some of them did previously. I know that won't help with the access but it's good info to have so you know your options.

We did the luggage transfer in Sept. My Dsis put her laptop in a piece of luggage with out a problem. She made sure to wrap in clothes even with it inside her laptop bag so that it didn't get damaged. It made it from AKL to BCV without a problem.

If you're not comfortable with that, all the parks have lockers to rent.

We rented a park locker for that exact reason. Worked out well. Piece of mind and nothing to carry at the park.:thumbsup2

I took mine and checked it myself and did not make it part of the luggage transfer. It's not perfect but....

Just an FYI - my cousin and I both allowed Bell Service to transport our laptops to our next resort in Dec. and both arrived just fine. Mine was in a backpack with laptop slot and hers was in a rolling computer case. Actually, her's was "lost" since she also asked to store a bag that she had purchased on the way over so when bell services delivered to our new room they only looked for the number of bags that was on the transfer slip. They found the shopping bag before the laptop but they had no problem finding the laptop once we asked for one more bag.

It's not ideal in my mind to let me precious laptop out of my sight, but since I often have to go ahead and store it with a bell service location on trips I figured it would probably fare just as well.

Not sure about lockers either. We just transfered NY EVE from VWL to BCV. I carried it to the MK bus, then stepped on a bus to BC. We wanted to use it at the lobby. One room was ready by then-otherwise would have checked it at bell services there. Then we walked to EPCOT for NY eve. With your situation I would carry it to the park and put it in a locker until we go to our room. Ours is just for pics/internet so I would pack it as suggested normally.
