I think all are in agreement that it won;t be given away free anymore.
No, I don't think we are all in agreement with that. The moment they sell it, even once, then it loses the intrinsic value of it being a "money can't buy" experience. No matter what you charge for the room, you couldn't possibly recoup the loss of the ability to tell guest that there is no cost on dreams.
Which sounds all pretty and pixie dust, but it also makes a lot of sense. How many press releases go out with each person who wins the suite? How many local papers like to do a quick showcase everytime a local citizen stays in the suite. Sure, Disney can buy ads in a paper, and can press for television time, but the newsworthiness of such a stay, the PR and Marketing Value of the suite only remain as long as no one can BUY a night in the suite.
So, I think that after the Years of a Million Dreams, it will still be given out, free. To guests, to Make a Wish, to anyone who can get a good bit of press out there to Disney, anyone who can be a picture, with a news release, of a family experiencing the magic at WDW, which will encourage families around them to consider a trip to WDW
