What to do with 4 pts?

Here's my situation - we have a Dec UY and I've borrowed 116 of my 120 points for 2008, leaving 4 available. We may take a trip in 2009, not sure yet. If we do take the trip, banking the 4 points and borrowing from Dec 2010 would make sense. However, if we don't take the trip any suggestions on what to do with the 4 points? Question is, if I take the 4 points and bank them into a Dec 2009 UY, when will they expire?
I'm confused!

With a December use year, your 2008 points are good for trips that occur between 12/1/2008 and 11/30/2009.

You have until July 31, 2009 to bank the 4 points you have left in the 2008 use year.

If you bank them, they will be good for a trip that occurs between 12/1/2009 and 11/30/2010. If you do not use the banked 4 points before 11/30/2010, then they expire and are lost to you.

There always a transfer to another owner. I have seen post for small amounts of points needed so others can finalize their reservations. Keep an eye on the rent/trade board.

But you can't transfer banked points. They must be current year points in order to do the transfer.

Can they be donated to Make a Wish or a charity like that?
