GREAT NEWS....Got a seat on the flight, got a letter from grandma, I'm not going to change my ADRs most of them are for 5 people, if we get turned away oh well we'll just eat some where quick.

Now, how many do the 1 bd DVCs "officially" sleep? Should I add him to my dining plan? Anything else I'm forgetting? We leave a week from Sunday, I'll post a couple of photos when I return.

I also work at school where my kids go, so at lunch I walked in and told my DS and friend. It was worth it, they were hugging and jumping up and down, it was worth it already

The only bad news, we got out tickets with points so I was able to get first class on the way home. Now 1 of us will have to sit in coach on the return flight...guess who that will be....yah...me...you guessed it....

Can't see where you'd have problems with the ADRs if they were five people anyway...how many 5 sided tables have you ever seen?

1 beds "officially" sleep 4. Did you say you were at OKW? Their rooms tend to be larger. I've only stayed in a regular studio or a 2 bedroom though so I can't say where you are gonna put everyone in a 1 bedroom, but break out the air mattress! And yep, you'll be the one squeezing it into the overhead compartment in coach too! Hopefully you won't be the one sleeping on it though!

You know, I have a feeling this is going to turn out to be one of the best trips ever.

Lisa -- I've never requested one myself so I have no first-hand knowledge, but I don't think it would matter whether there's 4 or 5 in the villa. It's just a matter of first come, first served...so if they have one available they will let you use it. However, it is a request only -- so if you're traveling during a really busy time, there may be none available.

that's gonna be fun taking a nine year old for his first time. 9 was the best age for my oldest. Everything was a fun, jaw dropping experience for her since she had not been to the parks for 4 years. It was all new.

There is a post on the community board asking what you consider to be upper class and how much money you should earn before you can consider yourself as such.

In my opinion you and your family are in that class as people, the kindness and love you are showing your sons friend is truly in a class of its own. No amount of money can buy kindness like that.

I also believe if you show kindness you will get it shown back .

It is people like you and your family with a story like this who keep my faith in humanity.(fed up hearing bad news every time the news is on tv)

Thanks Paul, of course we aren't doing it for Kudos. I wasn't even sure I should post because I didn't want to look like I was fishing for "atta boys". But I knew my friends on the DIS would give me insight Anyway thanks for the kind words, now that things are in order I'm really looking forward to it.

Good point Mindy, i know its a bit late in the day, but call his grandma and find out things like if hes scared of the dark etc. Cause that would control what you did at Disney.
