What to do post-cruise ???

I actually have friends that did this. While on board they booked the next cruise. They drove so didn't have to worry about flights, though I don't think they won powerball.

Unfortunately for me, I need to gain a trait of regenerating body parts to be able to go. Unless you can take your kids out of school, you are stuck paying insane prices, almost 2x. For the Summer and other break cruises, it is $2,000 a person for 3 people. Even if booked early, it is $1,900. For similar cruises on other lines, it is 50+% less.

We just went on a 4-night in April on The Dream. We did WDW before and after the cruise, and if I had to do it again, I would NOT go to any theme parks after the cruise. My kids are the same age as yours and they were totally exhausted after the cruise. The were staying up late every night, and in fact, the last night of the cruise they stayed up until 2am because they released the Prem-ear at sea of The Jungle Book. Then we had to be up and off the boat super early. We went to the MK and needless to say, I had two pretty grumpy kids! I would just go somewhere and sit and relax by a pool or something, I wouldn't make too many plans.

Buzzrelly, that's a good point about the kids staying up late and changing their normal sleep habits. The last thing I need are grumpy teens.
