what to do on your own on Western

I am much more familar with the Eastern. Was able to squeeze in a 7 day, and it happens to be the western, which I am really excited about trying, but I have no clue what to do!

I can barely afford the cruise, and definitely can not afford excursions... what are some ideas of things to do on your own in Key West, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel.

I am no problem catching cabs, etc.. and exploring a bit, looking more for the most bang for the lowest $$$.

GC you can grab a cab for $4 per person each way to Sea Grape beach on 7 mile beach. Bring a towel and you can relax there. No cost unless you rent a chair ($10 each) or buy food/drinks. I have heard there are similar beaches on Cozumel as well such as Mr. Sanchos or Paradise Beach.
