Is there anything to do besides MNSSHP on Halloween? We will have 3 kids ages 5, 6, &7 with us and would like to know if there might be a special event at OKW during our stay? I know Halloween isn't really a major holiday and many people don't celebrate it, but I'm just wondering. I bought costumes for the kids (on clearance at disneyshopping.com), Power Rangers & Princesses. They are so excited about the characters seeing them in their costumes!:thumbsup2

Just the party--but it takes all evening trick or treating, and you will want to get your tickets NOW since Halloween is the busiest of all the parties.

I'm in the same boat, we were planning on going to PI for Halloween night, since we purchased MNSSHP tix for the 30th, but now that plan is kaput! :guilty: Epcot has EMH that night, so I think we'll just hang out there, it will be a far cry from the Adventurers Club! :sad2:

Last year they had Trick or Treating at DTD on Halloween's eve and Halloween, our DGC went both nights:goodvibes On Halloween itself, there was also Trick or Treating long the Boardwalk, and a party at BW, on the Village Green. We went there, too:goodvibes We had dinner at LTT in MK, left before the MNSSHP began, took a bus to the BW, enjoyed the festivities, and then went to DTD. I think that's the night it rained, but sill we had fun!

During Halloween day, there were craft activities at WL, where we stayed and there was a kids parade around 5, but we weren't around to do those things.

It was lots of fun being there over Halloween. In the lobby of BW and VWL there were CM's jack-o-lanterns, and many were very good and creative.

We used to go on or real near Halloween if i remember right trick or treat was at downtown Disney. And over at boardwalk they had trick or treat plus events for the kids like games.

In 2003 we were there on Halloween day (our last day :() and they had a special pin release. There was a pin at each park to get, one in DTD, and I think 3 resorts had a pin. You don't know which resorts will have the pins, but once you go to a location that has one (like Epcot) they can tell you each location. We pin hunted and got them all.

Each pin had a character trick-or-treating on it and their bag had a symbol on it - the park pins had that parks icon on it and the others have a Mickey head on them. I even lucked out and got a CM pin which has the disney "D" on Donalds bag!

We're going to MNSSHP on Halloween night before we leave for the 7 night Western the next day...

Will it be crowded, yes... Will we have a good time? Yes...

Take the kids to the Boardwalk on Halloween evening. They have trick or treat stations set up, and a DJ on the Village Green. There were lots of very cute little princesses and pirates and Peter Pans there last year. Even though we had none of our own, it was fun to see the others.
