What to do on Halloween besides MNSSHP?

We are going to Disney October 24-Nov.1. We already booked MNSSHP for October 26th. Last year we went to MNSSHP on Halloween and it was really crowded so we were looking for something else to do on Halloween. We are going out for a nice dinner for my husband's birthday. Anything to do at Epcot? Is it really crowded in Epcot that day? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Last year my wife and I attended MNSSHP on the 26th, so on halloween night we went to Pleasure Island. They put on a great "special" Halloween show at the Adventurers Club and there were plenty of costumed people running around the island, made for great people watching. Have fun!

Was it really crowded at Pleasure Island? What about things for the kids? I heard that you can trick or treat at DD and the resorts, true? Any special activities at the resorts?
