Hi

My family of four (2 kids, 9 and 7), are due to arrive in Orlando on the Thursday before MLKjr day around 7:00 PM for our long weekend at Universal. The kids will be so excited, but the parks close early in January. Any advice on what to do with them on arrival night?
Debating heading to Disney and doing Animal Kingdom After Hours, but would rather stay at Universal if there is a fun option!

thanks :)

I’d explore your resort or CityWalk. Mini golf courses there are really fun! You can also bowl at Cabana Bay.

Swim, bowling, mini golf, explore the resorts, play the outdoor games at the resorts (you are allowed to resort hop), see a movie at AMC, share milkshakes at the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium (available at a take out stand inside), or if into sports grab an app at the sports restaurant and watch whatever game is on. There’s a karaoke lounge too but I’be never been so I don’t know if it’s kid-friendly.
