What to do on arrival day?

We usually relax at teh resort, maybe swim some, have a nice lunce. Later on we go to dinner and then back to the resort. You are POR, so I would probably hang out there, and have dinner at Boatwrights, or take the boat to DTD. It really is a nice ride int eh evening..

We always feel the need to visit DTD twice and for our last couple trips, we usually go there on our arrival day and then again sometime towards the end of our trip. On our arrival day, we like to get dinner there (usually at WPE) and then walk around and browse. We'll end with a sundae from Ghiradelli. When we go later in the trip, we'll hit the stores we missed the first time and also buy all the things we saw the first time, as well as the things we've been seeing in the parks all week. Work well for us.
