We did the nature/eco tour at St. Johns. They provide you a ferry boat, and then you "hike" on a paved trail up and down the mountain with a guide who points out plants, animals. etc. There was a huge termite nest that was along the trail and active when we went. Our guide was also a survivalist, so he would point out which plants you could use to suture an open wound stuff like that. Then you get a stop off at Honeymoon beach for a while. Then you stop by Caneel Resort to look at some ruins and I think it was sheep or goats. After that an open air bus takes you back to the ferry dock at Cruz Bay for the return trip to St Thomas. It was interesting to learn some about the nature of the island and a fun time at the beach.
