What to do for tickets with split stay?

Hi! Have booked a split stay at POR (2 nites) and BWV (5nites) 7/4/03-7/11/03 thru DC, but adding tickets seems to leave me with 3 separate reservations. July 4,5 at POR; July 6 at BWV; July7-11 At BWV. And more costly. Any other options, please. BTW, have learned much from these boards over the last few months.

Do a cost comparison with 7 day park hoppers, annual passes + any extras you might want to do and premium annual passes. We went with regular APs because with a 2 year old we weren't doing water parks or DQ. The regular pool was overwhelming enough for him! The advantage to the hoppers is that the days don't expire. With the plusses you don't need park admission for every day.

If you think you might come back before July 4th next year, the PAPs will be worth it!

It sounds to me like you were trying to get UPH's for your reservation and you discovered their greatest drawback - the fact that they cannot span multiple resorts in a single stay.

If you indeed want the UPH's, the most economical way to do it is this. Get a 6 day/5 night UPH in advance with your BWV reservation. It will be $299.27 for an adult. It will cover your 7/6 to 7/11 period completely.

For the POR reservation, get a 2 day/1 night UPH for 7/4 & 7/5 when checking into the resort. That will be $126.74. What you are actually doing is dropping the last day of your POR visit (7/6) since it will be covered by the BWV one once you check in to BWV. You can do this when buying the UPH at the resort but not when purchasing in advance. Between the two UPH's you'll spend about $426.

If you really don't need the admissions to water parks, PI and DQ you should consider getting the annual pass for $392.99.

And if you do want the water parks and PI (but not DQ), consider the 7 day PHP pass for $326.97 advance purchase. You could even get the 7 Day PHP and then buy up to three admissions to DQ separately and still save money over the UPH. These PHP tickets can also be gotten from some of the Orlando ticket brokers for a few dollars less than Disney's prices.

There are a lot of options. The choice is really up to you.

This is only $335.00 and includes everything and even a character breakfast and a few extra days. It works out to be $91 less even with the extra days.

Hi, again!
GoldenOldie, thanks for your help - I am checking that carefully.
Paj28, I have not been able to access that paramount site, but thanks.

paj28-
Thanks for the correction - it worked. Your suggestion does seem to solve the problem and is a real good buy. Don't understand why this option hasn't shown up on the boards at all. Are there any downsides to it?

I performed a search on this forum and typed in paramount. Everyone seemed to be pleased with this company. Sometimes the search works for me sometimes not. Hopefully you'll be lucky to see the old posts

You can get a UPH when you stay at multiple resorts, it just takes a little more effort than it would if you were staying at just one resort. I have done this before and I had to speak with 2 CMs before it would get done, but in the end it was the BWI CM who set up the pass for me to run our whole vacation, even though we were staying at CSR for the first part and had not yet checked into the BWI. They simply make up a dummy reservation for the length of your vacation to get the passes put on your room key. Then they delete the days you'll be staying at the other resort. The only thing is that you will always have the pass on your first room key, so don't lose it or throw it out when you switch to the new hotel. It sounds a little complicated, but most CMs know how to do it without much hassle (our first one was new so she said she had know idea what to do) and it will save you lots of money over buying 2 separate UPHs, which was the option we were first given.

Hi, justthat -
Thanks for the info - looks like a very promising lead. If I understand correctly, I should wait and buy our tickets upon arrival at POR? I see you have 2 weeks to go. Happy Valentine's Day. Bob.
