What to do for Disney nails?

Ok.. shallow question but hey this is the place to ask right?
I want to get my nails done "disney" before I leave for WDW (only 11 more days I'm a mom with four kids and thought it would be fun. Any suggestions or photos? I have fakeys on right now. I asked my nail guy if he had ideas and he seemed a bit confused. I've been searching the net and really haven't found anything I could copy.

My mom always gets Mickey Heads painted on her nails when we go to Disney. The kids love it. You could probably buy nail stickers at Walgreens or Walmart

Does your nail guy do the artsy stuff himself? You could have him just do the silouette of mickey's head on a few or all. He could probably use the little rhinestones too. I have acrylic over my nails now-they are my own but I am always filing them & repainting before I go for fills. I may have them decorate mine before we leave soon.

Some ladies I know get the "dot-dot" as they call it -- red toenails with white dots -- very Minnie Mouse like.

I usually get mine done with stones, just like the toe picture. I found little Disney princess nail stickers (for little girls) in Target I believe for our last trip for my DD. You might be able to find something like that and have them seal it into your nail. Any nail person should be able to do a Mickey Head though.

Nails and pedicures are always something that my DD and I look forward to doing before our trip. Good luck!

I used to have Mickey heads sprayed on. I had the littlest punch and my nail guy used that and I had Mickey on all 10 of my fingers and 10 of my dd too.

I had mine painted gold to match Belle's dress the last time I went. She is my favorite princess and it gave me something to talk to her about when I did a meet and greet. I also thought about the red with white polka dots. Have fun and post a picture with whatever your decide to do!

I found some nail stickers at Target the other day. They had two choices: the princesses or Tinkerbell. If you didn't want them on your fingernails maybe have them put on your two big toes!

GREAT thread! I love matching my nails to my vacation of choice! I usually get "hot pink" for "Florida" I've tired some Disney things, but it never comes out right. Gonna try again in a couple of weeks!

That is so cute and exactly what I want to do!! My mom, my DD and myself are going to get pedicures right before we leave and I'm hoping that I can get the Mickey heads done on my big toes and DD's, but her big toenails are still so small, I don't know if they will fit.

I don't mean to nit pick...but I'm a nail tech and have been for 19 years. While this photo is cute there are 2 things to know. First, stones that large have a great chance of coming off soon after application. Second, they are upside down. You apply any nail art or jewels to be displayed to those looking at your nails, not displayed to you.

If you are putting on any stones yourself make sure that you set them into wet polish and then apply a good top coat right over them. Also, you can re-apply the top coat after a few days to help keep the stones in place.
