What to do for dinner -Fantasmic

Our first day at Disney will be Oct 21st, I have an ADR for Ohanas at 6:45 that I am going to change because we decided to go to MGM that day and see Fantasmic and enjoy the EMH that eveing. We will be on the dining plan, and I didn't really see any great places at MGM to use a TS credit. No doubt we could do any of TS resturants and be fine, just not sure that it the best way to get full use out of mt TS credits. I was thinking maybe I could get an ADR for 5:00 at another resort or park and still be back for fantasmic at 7:30, do you think that would work ? Any ideas on where I could eat eat get back to MGM quick ? Like Could I do Ohanas or Whispering Canyon and still get back in time to get a seat at Fantasmic, or maybe somewhere closer ? Or should I just eat in MGM ?

Hi

We did the Brown Derby / Fantasmic combo back in 2005 and it worked out fine. We are trying the Mama Melrose / Fantasmic combo this November, hopefully it will be jsut as good.

Seems like Brown Derby is one of the best places, But I can't use 2 TS due to already being short since a breskfast is taking 2.

I would eat at MGM. You'd have to eat pretty early elsewhere to get back to Fantasmic by 6:30p to get a good seat for the 7:30p show.

I loved 50's Prime time.

I've also enjoyed MM and Sci-Fi as well.

If you eat at MGM no later than 5:00p (4:30p would be even better), then you could be done in time to go to Fantasmic and get a seat about 1 hour before (about 6:30p). Then you should be able to get great seats right in the middle of the stadium.
