What to do first?

I have, in the past, been able to decide what to do first. Now that I have to make park reservations, I'm less inclined to move stuff around. We will be there for 4 days and 3 nights. Arrival day (hoping to be there by 3:00): do we head straight to Animal Kingdom or just make it a pool day? 2nd day is Magic Kingdom. 3rd day is Epcot. Check out day: we aren't leaving until 6:00ish. Do we make that our AK day? Or Disney Springs if we already used our 3 day tickets

If flying, I try not to make any plans the first day. Stuff happens and flights get delayed

With AK having the earliest closing, I would not choose that for arrival day. I would do DS on your arrival day and save AK for your last day
That's a good plan.

You are correct. I'm just trying to fit on what I can in a short time. I don't know why I didn't think of DS for arrival day.

We usually do DS on the day we arrive. That way if a flight is delayed, it doesn't really matter. We will get later ADRs there somewhere as well. You can always leave and go back to the resort for pool time when ever you wish and not waste a park day.
I would do AK your last day.

I generally only enter one of the parks if I have an ADR there on my arrival day. Just too stressed and tired after the flight most of the time.

Flight delays have been worse this summer than usual, so I definitely wouldn’t plan on a park for arrival day. Love the DS idea
