what to do? Fantasmic Pkg.

I've always gone to MGM and gotten the Fantasmic Pkg. This year, I really wanted to try 50's primetime, but they don't offer the package. So, now I'm thinking of using 2 credits for the Brown Derby (did mama's-didn't like it, did Hollywood and vine too), so, how is it? Is it worth two credits? How long is the wait for Fantasmic at the end of August? I couldn't wait for two hours for a show....so, any help...anyone?

Brown Derby is defently worth it. But if you are not looking at a weekend it shouldn't be that bad. A CM once told us that on nights there are two shows, show up for the second show about 5 minutes befor it starts and you should be able to get a seat with no problem and no wait.

Thanks...just not sure I want to spend 2 TS credits and I really want to go to 50's primetime. I've only got around 14 days before I make my adr's and I'm panicking a bit

The Brown Derby is well worth it, it's one of our favourite restaurants. Can't answer your question re: crowds in Aug as we go in Oct but we always do the fantasmic dinner package.

We have done Brown Derby(paid out of pocket) Fantasmic. and We have done Mama Melrose(DIning plan) Fantasmic. Mama was ok. Brown Derby is definately worth the 2 credits. We won't be so stingy with our credits next time

We are going to do BD fantasmic in November. We did it when we were at WDW 3 years ago and it was great. This time we will have the dining plan and Im going to pay OOP. Its about 38/person for the package, and I think more economical (tho actually paying for it), to do OOP than to use 2 TS...We are 3 adults, as my DD is 14...not sure on your family size/cost.
