What to do during these two upcoming storms

Getting ready for some heavy rain and winds from Bonnie & Charlie. MY dd will be flying home from Florida today. I am glad she is not coming in tomorrow. So I was wondering what do you do during a storm.

I might see if I need any food items and go pick them up, I have batteries, candles, etc.

Looks like I will be stuck in the house doing the storms.

What would I do? 1st stop would be for beer. Then just wait it out.

My BF called me last night and asked me if we had hurricane supplies. I told him we have a case of bottled water, 5 cans of SpaghettiO's and 2 twelve packs of Corona. What more do you need?? That made him laugh but I was being serious.

Just in case the power goes out, have a cooler full of ice ready, don't want the Corona to get hot.

We haven't bought anything, and it's unlikely we will. These storms always turn at the last minute, so we're not overly worried.

monkeyboy: There is a bottle opener installed on the beer fridge...yes...we have a fridge dedicated to cold drinks. We had to stopputting beer in there for a few years cuz our nephews were skipping school and raiding our stash!!

Yes...I have limes...and ice! Hello...I take my Hurricane preparedness very seriously!!! (Oh, can't forget the frosty pilsner glass in the freezer!)

I'm hoping it'll blow over just enough to be able to watch the Dolphins play Saturday night in a torrential downpour! Cool!

If it doesn't blow over...I'll be getting my money's worth with the Wet Vac when my house floods. But I have beer...so it's all good!
