What to do differently on my 2nd Disney Cruise?

On my first cruise, I researched and did a lot. I hit a lot of the "must dos" that I was interested in and felt accomplished. On my second cruise, I still researched (it's just what I do, I love researching) but although I went armed with a list of things to do, I just vegged out. I did some of the things but probably not even half of what I planned. If you plan to continue cruising, just relax knowing you will eventually hit it all. Stare at the color of the ocean, think about what types of fish you're cruising over, watch kids squeal when they see Mickey. Those are more of the amazing things to me.

Even if you don't have kids, go check out the kids clubs when open to everyone. They are quite neat (check out the hand washing station). Also recommend the pirate party if you missed it the first time, and the fireworks at sea are amazing. We also loved the mixology class, it was like $20 per person and you got to make and drink five drinks.

More alcohol tastings
Rainforest Room
Get free apps at adult coffee shop. Excellent free desserts too.
Brunch or dessert thing at Remy in addition to dinner
See more movies,
Vanellope's on the Dream supposedly has really good, large sundaes that you can have delivered to the MDA for dessert at an extra, but reasonable, charge
Skyline bar has a passport that lets you try several of their drinks for a reasonable price and includes a little book with the recipes
Free apps in the adult area at night, maybe after dinner
Skip the late night buffet on Pirate Night

EDIT: Forgot to add to see more of Castaway Cay, like the adult area and the big slide. Maybe even use the kids club on the island.

Are these options available on all the ships? We will be taking our second DCL cruise on the Magic in December. Our first was on the Dream. Also, where is the kids' club on CC?

I don't know if all of these are available on the Magic. It may also depend upon the length of the cruise. I have only done 7 days on the Fantasy. You will need to check the website. I specified the ship for some of them but not most. Also, @PrincessShmoo commented on the availability of some of them in the following post.

I remember the kids club on CC being pretty close to the tram pick up/drop off near the boat dock. There are probably signs for it. There are signs all over the island.

I guess I was enjoying the island too much and NEVER noticed one sign! :p

The only thing I can think of is: Book a 7-day or longer while on board.

Edit: Thought of one more thing. Go down to deck 4 at sail away and wait to watch the Harbor Pilot jump ship. Starboard side, close to the midship door from the Promenade to the interior. He/She will jump onto the Pilot boat (you can't miss it. It's the boat that comes alongside while you're underway as you leave the port channel.) from the Dream. We always cheer and they always wave at us as they peel off and head back to port.
