We have always had our 4 children with us when we went to WDW, now my husband and I planned a quick trip 4 days in April. We are so used to having a plan for the kids (spread out in ages) that we could probably use suggestions for what to do as adults.

We can relax and see street performers, get snacks without having to buy for 6 people!

What suggestions do you guys have?

Take your time through the countries in Epcot. Take time to explore all the hidden paths. Sit on a bench and enjoy a drink/snack and take in the surroundings. I love getting a drink and just watching the water around the World Showcase. Oh and also being able to look at things in the stores. There is some really cool stuff sold at the different countries.

Do whatever attractions that you enjoy doing. DH and I will be doing our first adults only trip in July. I suspect that we will be skipping many of the roller coasters, since those are really for DS. Head to some of the bars, especially at the resorts, like Trader Sam's. Resort hopping is great as adults too. Just take time to smell the roses and go to the little corners of the parks that you never explore, especially attraction queues like the Haunted Mansion garden. Do the stuff that your kids find boring, like Hall of Presidents, the riverboat, the movies in World Showcase, and One Man's Dream. Also, just sit on Aunt Sally's porch on Tom Sawyer Island and drink a lemonade. I am also looking forward to doing some of the treasure hunt-like games, like Agent P and Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. We do them with DS, but I think it will be a different experience as adults. Splurge on a nice meal.

We've gone twice without our kids and it's fantastic! :thumbsup2

We enjoy trying new restaurants that we're not sure if the kids would like. We have done a couple of tours and really enjoyed them. We love roller coasters, so we make sure to ride them all, and it's a treat to get to sit together instead of splitting up with the kids! I like being able to stay out late for Wishes and Illuminations, meander out of the park after closing and just enjoy the atmosphere.

Tours, definitely. We did KTTK and Segway tour before DS was born.

Signature dining. We really liked California Grill, and you can watch Wishes from atop the Contemporary. V&A, depending on your budget.

Rent a boat at Contemporary and cruise Seven Seas Lagoon.

Spa day.

As a fellow mom of 4 - congrats on getting time away! We ditched the kids last April30-May 4 and had a blast. We did the Backstage Magic Tour, ate ourselves silly at Flower and Garden, and practically skipped through the parks because we were so happy not to have strollers.
ETA - we were done with Magic Kingdom so quickly without having to stop to change diapers that we played Sorcerer of the Magic Kingdom and acted like little kids. Neither of us could figure out what we were doing, but we were having so much fun it didn't matter.

My son doesn't tolerate restaurants well so I would make time for some sit-down meals, sip on plenty of drinks around the world in Epcot, resort hop, maybe check out Cirque Du Soleil?

Go to DS to hang out after the parks close. My go to is Raglan Road to see the band perform on the patio stage.

Do whatever you want! We really enjoyed typhoon lagoon without having to worry about the kids. Taking a tour is a good option also.

This sounds a lot like what we've done on our kid-free trips! Tours, re-riding our favorite rides which include many coasters, many signature restaurants, Jellyrolls, late nights in the parks. Slow touring of WS and being able to enjoy the acts without anyone sighing loudly because they're bored and want to move on :sad2: Definitely checking out some of the resort bars; we like Tambu Lounge at the Poly. In January DH and I did all 4 parks on our last full day. It wasn't rushed, it was so much fun! Not that our boys couldn't do that but they'd definitely complain about all the travel. Have a great time pixiedust:

We have 4 children and 10 grand kiddos, but no one can get their schedules to work out for a trip together,so DH and I go to WDW ourselves. We do tours- Wild Afrika Trek was fun!!!!-and we were the only adults WIThOUT children on the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise. We've had a lovely night time carriage ride at Fort Wilderness, eaten at nice restaurants later in the evening, made plans at the last minute, did a leisurely wine tasting at Jiko and also in the German pavilion at Epcot. I recently wrote a trip report about out trip in December- it's called From the Tropics To The Wilderness. It can give you an idea of how we spent our time. Hopefully,we'll eventually be able to spend time at WDW with the kids, but until then,we're having a great time on our own. We're going back in August!!!!

Flower and Garden festival is still on. Enjoy the outdoor kitchens in Epcot. Minigolf, spa, bowling.

Take your time exploring Flower & Garden! Look at the descriptions of the plants, catch the concerts in the pavilion, try the festival cuisine, etc. Stay late in MK to catch the less crowded late parade. Take a relaxed pace, eat at some more adult restaurants and enjoy!
