Next week we have a quick WDW trip. I'm using flight credits from Spirit from a canceled spring break Chicago 2020 trip. Been trying to use them all year - so far 3 strikes in 2021 for flight cancelations. This time, we decided to fly to Orlando and go to Boo Bash. Those flights seem more stable! (But based on my first-time experience with this airline so far, I'm still nervous lol.)
Our flight is late, 8 p.m. If Spirit cancels or delays us until the 6 a.m. flight in the morning, how do I handle the resort part of it? There is no way we'd arrive that night but we could get there either via Spirit or another airline in the morning. We wouldn't want Disney to cancel our second night since we didn't show. Do I just call the main number and talk to the call center in the event our flight is a no-go? Or is there a better way to contact the resort and let them know we are still coming? Or does it even matter since we did online check-in?
