You can always pay OOP for one or two!

I ditto the Tusker House and 1900 PF recommendations. Tusker House was my favorite buffet of the trip. Loved all the middle eastern and Indian selections. We had lunch there. 1900 PF was my favorite character interactions. The stepsisters are a riot. We had dinner there. Both were one table service credit.

Other places we went for TS - Biergarten dinner: decent food, excellent entertainment, Crystal Palace breakfast: good food, good character interaction, Mama Melrose: good food, excellent dessert nothing spectacular, Kouzzina - very good food, excellent waitstaff.

I am going to my fave place in the world in sept, obviously DISNEY!!!!! .. ... However I have a dilemma - where will we eat ?
I'm in the Disney basic dinning , table service + counter service
Here is what we have so far for table service :

Planet Hollywood
The Hollywood brown derby
Trepan Edo
Rose & crown
Liberty tree tavern
Raglan road Irish pub
Yak and yeti
50's prime time
....
I need 2 more to choose , please give your suggestions - we are not picky eaters so please shout out some of your recommendations :) :) thanxs

EH, just wanted to mention since your on the DDP, in case you didn't realize it, that Brown Derby is a (2) TS Credit restaurant.

My suggestions would be.......

If you are looking for a Character Meal:
CRYSTAL PALACE (breakfast, lunch or dinner buffet)
OHANA (breakfast)

For a non-character meal:
KONA CAFE (love this place!!!)
OHANA (dinner)
BOMA (buffet)

Happy Planning :coffee:

So for sure I will be visiting Kona cafe, now is there any good seafood places that are a must :)

For seafood I recommend either CAPE MAY CLAM BAKE, or FULTONS CRAB HOUSE (2) TS

I have also been looking over the CAPTAINS GRILLE menu as a possible choice for us, but we have never eaten there before. But they have crab legs!!!! :thumbsup2

Tusker House breakfast was fantastic!!!

If you do eat at Kona, def make a reservation. We ate here the last week in February (after Presidents week). Overall the whole week was DEAD, all the parks were practically empty, yet Kona was PACKED the morning we ate there. I would say ADRs are a must...

Boma or Sanaa (If you eat during day light you can watch the animals while you eat) I made our ADR right when they open for dinner hoping to get a window seat. I'm also so excited to try all the different food.

Tusker house or Boma are two of our favorites! Oh, and Biergarten! They all have really good buffets!

I'm thinking possibly going to TH in place of YaY ( even though I LOVE the mango pie and fried wonton dessert ) !!!

I love Kona Cafe or Chef Mickey's for bfast

for dinner I'd say Biergarten & Whispering Canyon :)

is Kona good dinner place or mainly breakfast?

We eat there for dinner on every trip. It is a must for our family. We really enjoy it. I get the NY strip steak that has a glaze on it. Very good!

Now that FD in September looks pretty definite, I would be sure to make ADRS on all of your TS meals. The FD impact makes it almost impossible to walkin and get seated.
