What to buy DH for milestone birthday?

DH is turning 50 on Friday. I haven't a clue what to buy for him! We are going to WDW/Cruise in July & birthdays are one of many things we're celebrating then. But I'd like to have presents for him to open. (keep in mind - I can't give him stuff for an "old" person, as I turn 50 in 5 months!)
Any suggestions?

It might sound outlandish, but I would suggest 50 gifts. Many can be very small, but 50 wrapped items would be a birthday that he would never forget. Also, a lot of fun for him to open them all.

Favorite candies, little nick nacks that you saved from events that the two of you attended, paperback books he likes, lots of possibilities.

I did this for SO who turned 40, and seemed to be very appreciated.

How about putting together some sort of scrap book for him? It does not have to be fancy, just to highlight the events over the past 50 years. School photos, pictures of him growing up, then your wedding, special trips, your children (if you have any), etc.

I like the idea of the 50 small prizes. What about different "penny candy" from way back when. There are some neat sites under old fashion candy I've seen.

a Disney Cruise. We had a nice time. A few days at BW and then the cruise.

Can't wait till I turn 50 I already told him I want something big, expensive and shiny. Gold/Diamonds would be fine with me.
