I'm struggling with this as our budget doesn't allow much...any suggestions? Either from WDW (our honeymoon destination) or elsewhere...

Thanks!

I got my DH a gameboy ds so he would have something fun to play since we saw many trips in our future right then. I gave it to him before we left for our wedding and he loved having it on the plane. I also have been working on a scrapbook for him of our dating years and engagement time. Haven't finished it yet and I am getting antsy to start on our wedding scrapbook so I don't know when he will get the other one.

DFi and I got each other tickets to concerts we wanted to see, and went together. It was an expense we wouldn't have otherwise spent, and it was 2 nights together.

My FH is a huge racing fan so I'm getting him the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Disney. I'm sure it'll be his favorite thing about the trip...other than our wedding I hope!! :flower:

gary is a qualified open water scuba diver but hasnt been in a couple of years, so i've booked dive quest for him. finding it hard not to tell him cos i'm, rubbish at keeping secrets!

Unsure how long you have to plan this, but I did a scrapbook for DH as his wedding gift -- it included all of our old concert tickets, movie tickets, places we had been and pics. He opened it on camera the morning of the wedding and loved it.

I have two choices right now, either:
Playstation 2 (he's been whining about it for months now)

or
tickets to Daytona 500 this feb. He's a big Nascar Fan and never has gone (but I have) so I am hoping to get him 2 tkts... ::MinnieMo

You are getting married at home but honeymooning at WDW, right? How about a really nice watch from WDW? They have all price ranges. The good places to find watches on property are at the watch store on Main Street in MK, the store in the Contemporary, and World of Disney Downtown. WOD has the biggest selection and all the price ranges.

I was thinking of some nice disney cufflinks to give before the wedding ...anyone seen any at WDW or anywhere else?

I love the idea of a watch or cufflinks (if he'll use them) because I think it's cool to see DH, almost 10 years later, still wearing the Tigger watch I got him for our wedding. And I still wear the one he bought me almost daily. It is almost an extension of our rings...

I will second (or is that third or fourth?) the watch idea. My DW and I purchased each other watches on our honeymoon on Main Street. I treasure that watch. It was far less than $100 dollars, and every moment I look at it brings back great memories. It's been through a few bands, a few batteries, but it keeps on chugging away for a bit over 15 years now...

Oh, and two additional tips (from personal experience) that you may or may not have heard --

1. Let the CM know when you check in that it's your honeymoon. My DW started to sign her maiden name on the back of her resort ID when I chided her "Uh, that's not your name anymore." She laughed and the CM congratulated us on our wedding. When we returned to our room following a day in the MK, there was a nice bottle of champaigne and roses from the Poly manager.

2. I don't care how many times you've hit the ride that day, on your wedding night try not not to hum "It's a small world after all..."
