Hi! I will be staying at OKW the first week of Sept with 4 adults (me included) and a 3 yr old. We are getting the DDP, so even though we have the full kitchen, we probably won't be doing any cooking. We plan to get small breakfast items like donuts and cereal and eat breakfast before we leave the room. I just want to know what I need to bring that they won't have in the room.

Do I need coffee and filters, and if so what type of filters. Do I need to bring my own laundry detergent and fabric softner because I plan to do laundry there so I don't have to pack as much. I was also wondering if they provide a bottle opener for wine in the 2 bedroom suite incase we would like some.

Any help or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You do need to bring coffee and filters as they only provide enough for one pot when you check in - The 12 cup basket type filter is the one you need.

You will get one single load box of Tide when you check in - no fabric softener. You can purchase more in the laundry room or just bring some from home. I just pack the fabric softener sheets in a plastic bag and since I can't get the detergent talblets any more pack some dry deterget like that also.

There has always been a wine opener in the larger units but I also have one that I leave packed in my luggage just in case. If there is not one you can call and ask mousekeeping to bring one to the villa.

I also pack a small pop up hamper that I can put in the closet to put the dirty clothes in until we are ready to do laundry. The other option is to use the washer itself as a hamper.

They don't usually provide sugar, pepper, salt. But they do provide paper towels, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, the single use box of Tide, toilet paper, all the dishes in the cabinet including pots and pans, kitchen sponge.
