We are going to Disney from New Zealand in November, first trip for all 5 of us (me and hubby + 3 kids).
There are some things we want to do, like perhaps the bibbity boutique for one daughter, some character dining, the parades/fireworks etc. Should we be booking some of that before we go or do we take our chances when we are there? I can't find how to book them anyway - any advice please? Also for a newbie is there anything you'd particularly recommend? We don't have our Disney tickets yet either, we thought we'd either get them from Hojos or from the gate, we want to get 6 day parkhoppers preferably. Thanks for any tips! We are there from 2-12 November staying at Hojos.

For dining reservations 1-(714) 781-3463. Don't be too stressed about making these reservations. You can make them a week out or a couple days out.

For BBB reservations, 1-(714) 781-STYLE or 1-(714) 781-7895.

For F! you will only have the weekend days Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

It's unknown if there will be fireworks your first weekend. The Holiday fireworks are scheduled to start on the 11th. There is no parade the last weekend.

For Tickets you will get a better deal buying them online at disneyland.com than at the gates.

Kia ora!
I wouldn't worry too much about reservations, we have never had any toruble getting seated for restaurants as much as the day we want to book. The crowds shouldn't be too bad during your stay so I wouldn't bother making the international call. BBB is gorgeous, i'm sure your daughter will love it! As a newbie I would take some time on your first morning to soak up the atmosphere of the park & get your bearings, you'll learn soon enough the rides you love, take the time to shop and most of all have an awesome time! :yay:

I thought that Aussie/NZ had the chance to get a better deal on tickets. There is a sticky at the top of the main Disneyland board with info for Aussie/NZ.

Skiingfast is right. If you buy your tickets online they are quite a bit cheaper. I know Aussies can get a 14 day park hopper for nearly the same price as the 6 day hopper bought online. However, I'm nt sure if that deal is also for New Zealanders. The 14 day pass is about $249 Australian at the travel agent and if you can find it on expedia.com.au for your dates it might be even cheaper.

Have a great time!

PS - remember to take your time and soak everything in! :goodvibes
