I see an AmEx offer on my Blue Everyday Cash Card at Best Buy for $25 off a $250 purchase. Anyone use one of these on DGCs?

Thinking in-store and physical DGC is the better way to try this one, although attempting it online to stack with 2% on Retailmenot is tempting.

Historically Best Buy Amex offers should credit for both physical and digital Disney GCs since they are issued from Best Buy.

Those with the AMEX offer for Best Buy, mine doesn't expire until Dec. 31. Might want to wait to see if there are any sales on gift cards. Last year they had a sale in December.

I'm want to wait to see if Best Buy does offer the discounted DGC, but I'd feel better if the total was $250 or more in one transaction. I remember with the sale, you could only buy 3 or 4 of the discounted DGC at a time. The AMEX offer does say you can spend $250 in one or more purchases, but I'm a worry wart .

I'm not in a rush for gift cards, so the extra savings is tempting....

Sadly, I dont believe it will work on DGC’s.

I have had an Amex discount on DGC work in the past.

I gave it a shot, buying 1 $200 GC and 1 $50 GC.

The terms say it may take until after the end of the year for the rebate to show up though!

That’s fairly common, I have multiple offers added rn, and all of them say 90 days or end of the year. The two I used earlier this month posted within 48 hours.

Yes you can only sign up on one card. Been that way for quite some time.

I have done so in the past but always in store and it has always worked.

Do you have any authorized users? If so check their cards as they may have the deal as well

I was just buying a $25 e-gift card from the Disney Store (wanted another one for my Apple Wallet to transfer other DGC purchases to). Retailmenot is currently 10% cash back at the Disney Store and Rakuten is currently 8% cash back. I doubt a gift card purchase will trigger either of those, but I attempted the Retailmenot. I know I've had some DGC purchases from Target trigger the 2% Retailmenot cash back in the past.

Retailmenot pays out 2% on the majority of my DGC purchases from Target - I think there is maybe a max of 6 transactions (?) a month though.
