What to avoid

I get the feeling that so many peoples oppion on stich Is infulenced on pre-conceptions. They here so many bad things about It and when they final do go they expect it to be bad and do not give It a chance. Is stich our favorit,no but its disney and its so very apart of the whole disney experince. We take It for what It Is a funny show, stich just needs some Pixi dust!:goodvibes

I honestly knew nothing about Stitch when I went in with my DS...It was really a non-memorable ride! But if it was the worst WDW had to offer, then I will not ever complain about it again!

While the weirdo in me still loves this ride, I do want to warn you about Dinosaur! at AK. The first time we went on this ride we asked the CM if it would be OK for our DD (6 at the time). He said as long as she isn't scared of the dark and loud noises, she'd be fine. And while he didn't lie, he also didn't explain that there are VERY LOUD noises in that ride and the robot dinosaur at the end of the rides literally roars so loud in you face it rattles your teeth:scared1:. You also get jostled around like your a milkshake. The whole thing proved to be too much for our DD and she was crying her eyes out by the end of it.

We got stuck on dinosaur! the lights went out we werent moving along the track but we were moving up and down, and it was soooo LOUD it was insane!! best thing is they didnt even know the ride was broken down as it was right at the end of the afternoon and the park was closing so there was no queue.... that is one ride i will never go on again!!

The Carousel of Progress...I don't like it. But many people do like it a lot. Its my personal views ... not intended to hurt someone.

I have always loved Space Mountain, but strangely enough, I'd never seen it with the lights on. I was curious about the rather scary comments about seeing it with the lights on, so I just had to go look. Now, I understand why it might scare the crap outta some people, LOL. I think I'd rather ride it with lights out (and my arms securely inside the car).

SPOILER: If you haven't seen SM with the lights on and want to, visit this link for a good look (forward through using the arrows to see the coaster). http://www.coastergallery.com/2000/WDW13.html

I would skip Soarin'. We rode the second time we went to WDW and I was the only one out of 5 people who didn't like it. Even though most people do like it I would skip it 100%of the time.

I would also skip Spaceship Earth. It's just like a muesem of how people look in previous years lol.

OK I am going to brave and say that I would skip the Dole Whip... I looked sooo forward to it last year. But, once I got it, I couldn't understand the appeal.

:lmao: I never had one until we went to DL in February. It was good, but not that good!

We haven't been on the Stitch ride, but we've done most everything else. I can honestly say I wouldn't actively avoid any of the rides I've been on, although I do prefer some over others. I just love everything Disney! :goodvibes

Food is another issue. We will NEVER go back to Hollywood & Vine.

Olivia's at Old Key West
Ohana for dinner
Hall of Presidents (snore)
The Cantina de San Angel
Soarin' (sorry!)
Pizza Planet
Snow White (sorry again!)
Finding Nemo the Musical
Dinosaur

It's amazing how different people's tastes are. I disagree with just about everything that scarlet_ibis posted above. HOWEVER, I think it is wonderful that Disney offers so much variety to satisfy just about everyone!

I'll clarify a little for WVParkfan, LOL!

Olivia's at Old Key West This is my parents' home resort, so we eat there a bunch. The service is ALWAYS spotty. The overpriced food ranges from standard and tasty to a clumsy blend of flavors that just don't quite work. We have also had to wait 25 minutes for dinner without an ADR when the restaurant was empty.

Ohana for dinner Again, we have been cursed with poor service here every time we have tried it. The kids have fun participating in the show, but overall, the meat is overcooked and it's just not a cuisine that appeals to me. I will note that it seems they have changed the menu since we last ate there.

Hall of Presidents (snore) Not into history, so I can't see wasting precious park time on this.

The Cantina de San Angel Worst-tasting counter service we have ever gotten at WDW. I didn't even know you could do that to refried beans.

Soarin' (sorry!) Maybe it was neat the first time or two, but it's the same thing over and over, and the movie itself even looks dated at this point. It's definitely time to update this ride's video. Maybe even give it random courses, sort of like the Tower of Terror. My kids and my parents love this ride, but I wouldn't wait 90 minutes for it. I wouldn't wait 30 minutes for it.

Pizza Planet Falls "below average" on execution.

Snow White (sorry again!) This is on my list because it's a long wait to sit in a car and ride past dioramas. Disney should be so much better than this.

Finding Nemo the Musical This was so painful that they were giving away Fast Passes at the front of the park to get people into the theatre. And we fell for it.

Dinosaur I didn't think this was very special and my 6 year old was terrified.

Don't think I need the clarification, as each of us are entitled to our own opinion. Each of us has things we love, even though others may hate the same thing. Again, the joy of the variety at Disney. Some things I just do not like include the Jungle Cruise, Star Tours, Spectromagic, and the Crystal Palace. However, some of those may be included in your favorites. Vive la différence!

If we all enjoyed the same thing, the line to Space Mountain would be enormous. :rotfl2:
