I am trying to think if my times are too close together? what do you think?/

MK - Plaza lunch 12pm -- CP dnr --6:30p

another MK day --LTT 12pm lunch CM dnr at 6pm

do you think these times are too close together????

times look okay to me
I prefer the lunch at 11:30 and dinner at 6pm. Those hours should ensure that you miss the rush. Also after dinner is still time to few the parks and walk off dessert.

I scheduled our lunch and dinners are 11:30 and 6:00 too.

we tend to prefer a late breakfast (10:30-11ish) and a 6pm dinner... so i would say that noon and 6ish should work...

I made ADR's for our family of 6 for 8/13 to 8/19 and took whatever we could get. The times are all over the place. So, we will have to be flexible with our meal times. I understand it is harder to seat 6 than it is to seat 2 or 4.

Still excited about the free dining though!

We rarely do two table service in a day, but usually we eat lunch around noon or 1 and dinner around 7:30 or 8, but my DS6 is a night owl.

We are going the last week of September and I have been obsessing about ADR's. My DH is ready to cancel the whole thing if I don't shut up. I joined this forum just to have an outlet. Anyway, as for your question, I think any time is a good time to eat. Our reservations are for 3 character buffets( 2 for breakfast), Le Cellier(which I could only get for 5:00) and Coral Reef (I believe 5:50). I try to eat early because we have 2 small kids. I figure if they are still awake by the time we finish supper, then we'll still have time to walk around and get a good spot for the show.

We usually schedule the first seating, which usually means we get our table with very little wait since the restaurant is empty. So, for us it's lunch around 11:30-noon (whenever it opens) and dinner around 5-5:30.

But... we try not to do two big table service meal in a day. We made that mistake a few years ago, and I felt like I was suffering from indigestion the entire trip. Too... much... food! :faint:

We are going in September. We have TS scheduled for breakfast & dinner. We have a party of 6 adults, us & our parents. I have scheduled the earliest breakfast possible so 7:30-8AM, and dinner for 5:30-6 PM. It is so hot we like to keep it really light in the middle of the day. DH & I sometimes don't eat, but when we do it's CS and we split something usually. We go back to the hotel every afternoon for a rest & swim so an early dinner suits us.

We don't make 2 TS meals in one day.....we usually share a light lunch around 1:00 and make dinner ADR's for about 6:30 or 7:00 :sunny:

We make our dinner ADRs for 8:00 pm. We eat late, and the restaurants are usually less crowded and definately have less little guys running around! It works for us.

How we decided to do our ADR's was to make them when we knew we had flexibility in our schedule.

For example - Donald's Breakfastosaurus was made for 10:20 am. We are going on an EMH morning and figure we will hit EE and Safari and possibly Lion King all before that time. Then we have rest of day to relax.

Another - Biergarten 12:30 pm after future world and then the rest of the day is just the countries and then heading back to poly for a swim.

One more - Boma 5:15 pm on the friday before we leave. Nothing planned but we may want to go to MK for shopping and visit it at night.

This way if they are behind for some reason, we are not rushed to do anything.

Our experience last week was that the buffets and character meals took about an hour whereas the other TS restaurants took 2+hours, so plan accordingly. We would have made earlier ADRs for the Le Cellier type places, but would still do it again in a hearbeat.
