What time...?

Our flight arrives at 11:10am on Aug 22nd (it was pushed back an hour by Delta).

This will be our first trip. Me, DH, MIL, DD7, DS5, DS5. We are taking ME to AoA but want to head directly to MK. What time should I make our first FP+ for? We have a reservation for CP for 5:05 & don't want to stay in the park that long as we have a BBB appt for 8:05 the next morning. Should I make the first one for 1:00 or later? TIA!

I wouldn't expect to get to your resort before 12:30, so 1:00 would definitely be pushing it, although you might be able to get there before the return window ends. 2:00 would be much safer.

I agree - 2 would be much safer.

Also, I would advise you to do the online check in just in case the check in line is long. That way, you basically go up to the counter, get your packet, chat briefly with a Cast Member and are ready to go. Then you will all checked into the resort and be on your way to the Magic Kingdom much faster.
