Park is open regular time @ 9am. We are staying @ AK and will be there for most of day, and then rest, and off to HS for CS and Fantasmic.

So I was wondering do most like to get in parks early and have breakfast then fast pass Kilamanjaro or hit Kilamanjaro ride then have breakfast. I make our ADR's tomorrow and always fret the night before over times...why I donot know.
TIA

I think we had ours last year at 7:50am or 8am. We had enough time to eat and interact with the characters. When we were done, the park was just opening and we had a headstart on the rides. We were one of the first to go on the Safari:cool1: Tusker House was close to the Safari queue.

This is our favorite breakfast and we always get 8:00 ARD we have time to eat and have pictures taken with the characters we then hit the park just as it is opening and never have a problem getting to all the rides.

We love Tusker House for breakfast. We always get an 8:00AM ADR on a day when the park opens at 9:00. We're usually done with breakfast right around 9:00, when the park is opening. At the end of our meal, DH runs to EE to get FP's and I pay the bill and take the kids to the restroom. When DH returns, we go on KS.

I'd book it as early as possible. 8 AM would be great. Then you not only have time for breakfast before rope drop, you also get 100% fresh food and minimal slobber/snot/etc. on the shared utensils.

I love early ADR's at Tusker House before the park opens. Then as you are finishing your breakfast right as the park is opening you are right there next to Kilimanjaro Safari and are one of the first to ride.

Agree with this! :)

We had a 8:10 ADR last week and it was perfect. There was a bit of a line for pics but it worked out ok. The food was very good.

AS Early as possible. Its a walk to the tusker house but it is right by the safari so when you get out of breakfst there is a minimal line for the safari

We are booked for 8 a.m. in October and we always do an 8 to 8:15 a.m. ressie at Tusker House- lets us be one of the first on the Kilimanjaro Safari!!!! :thumbsup2

We did the same thing as you did and the Safari was walk on. :thumbsup2

I agree with all the other posters on the 8 am reservation. We did a 9:30 one time, were seated late and didn't get out until 11:00. It blew our whole morning!

We too always do the first ADR of the morning. It's a perfect way to start an Animal Kingdom day. We'll be there for breakfast June 9th and I'm sooooo excited!!! :thumbsup2

I booked and 8:30 so thinking we should be out by 9:30 ish and will hit Kilmanjaro right after! Or if to packed already we will fast pass it. I am more excited to get a picture in front of the Tree Of Life without a bunch of people around.
