What time to schedule Pirate's League?

DD8 wants to do the pirate's league and I'm trying to figure out what time to schedule it into our MK day. We have Crystal Palace reservations at 12:10 and we want to see the 3 pm parade, we probably won't get to the park till 10 or 11 (I know, I know, but I cannot motivate my family to get out the door earlier) and want to use what little morning time we have for rides. Can we squeeze it in after lunch, but before the parade? What would be a safe time?

I would try for 1:45 pm, and watch the parade in Frontierland.
