What time to get a spot for MESP and Wishes?

Can anyone give me guidance on how early people need to reserve a spot to be able to see MSEP, Celebrate the Magic and Wishes? It's just me and my 4yo and I want her to be able to see but kind of need an idea of how long we will need to wait beforehand for this to be possible. Any advice appreciated!

On "normal" days, figure to arrive at a spot in or near the hub 60-90 minutes before MSEP starts.

If it is a BUSY night, add 30-60 minutes to that time.

Disney has created a problem by having THREE major nighttime must-sees that can
only ALL be seen (without needing to change locations) from in or near the hub.

Thanks Robo! So if its a 5/10 day at MK with a 9pm and 11pm MSEP then i should be able to find a spot in the hub or main street around 8? I've only ever used FP for Wishes so don't really know how to strategize without it!

I agree with Robo, but you don't mention when you will be traveling and that makes a difference. We typically visit WDW over the week of Thanksgiving. Two MSEPs are usually offered so we see the second one and walk up just as it is starting and can usually be in the first or second row without any problems. Will you be traveling when two parades are offered? Can your 4 year old stay awake to wait for the second one?

We will be travelling at end of April (Touring plans says 5/10 crowds). She definitely can't stay up for the second one (I'm not sure she can stay up for the first!) But its worth a try!

I'd err on the side of caution.
You might want to send someone in your party to scope the hub area 90-120 min. early (and report back to the group via cell phone.)
