What time to check-in for Hoop de Doo?

I am reserved for tier 2 on the dining plan for the 5:00 show. What time should I plan to be there? Are there any benefits to checking in early? I have a car and we will be driving from HS. Thanks!!!

There will usually be someone from the HHD at the front of Pioneer Hall about30 minutes prior to the show. You can check in then. I always try to get there earlier and either take a walk over to the petting area or visit the horse stable. You can also go and get a drink and sit on the porch at Crockett's Tavern and there are even some games that the kids can play there.

Getting there early also gives you time to get your photo taken before the show. This is one of those extra cost packages -- about $30. But I recommend it because one picture is you/family.... and on the other side is a very nice photograph of the whole cast of Hoop Dee Doo.... better than any photo I could ever take. Well worth $30

as long as you're there 20 minutes prior you should be fine...but if you are interested in getting the photos taken, it might be better to get there a little earlier in case there is a big line for photos

Unless you want the photo, you don't have to be there more than ten minutes before show time. You already have your table assigned so there's no advantage to getting a better view.

Fantastic!!! Thanks to all of you for the answers! I have decided to make this our AK day instead, but now I am frantically trying to get a Sci-Fi ressie for my former AK day. I think we will take the boat from the Poly to MK, then to HDDR. I am so excited!
