What time to book Rose&Crown for 9:30 Illumination?

Hi!

I'd like to book the Rose and Crown and cross my fingers to see the Illumination show on their patio. I was thinking 7:30 or 8 and letting the hostess know I'd be willing to wait for a patio seat. What time do you think is best?

7:30 sounds like a good time. However, "if" you tell them you'd be willing to wait for a patio table, they will tell you that they cannot do that. If you insist, they will tell you that you are "welcome" to try another restaurant. However, if you get a seat inside, there is a spot out on the patio where "inside" patrons are allowed to go to watch the show.
