What time should LYFT pick us up from Poly to catch our flight?

I would try to hail a Lyft by 9:30.
There are always plenty of drivers around WDW, but it can still take a couple of minutes for a driver to get to the Poly.

A poster in.a different board said a pax who never missed a flight is a pax who wasted too many hours in airports.

Lyft is currently showing 28 minute drive plus.a 2 minute wait for a car. I'd allow at least 45 minutes. What time do you have to be at the gate? Frontier is 15 minutes prior to departure. Monday my flight pushed back 13 minutes prior, I suspect the jet way door was closed at 15 minutes prior. TSA pre at MCO has occasionally been 20-30 minutes. Figure at least 30 minutes to check luggage and walk through the airport.

Leaving at 10 means you'll probably make your flight. Chances are definitely higher then 50%.

I'd leave by 930 giving you 2.hours in the airport. FWIW MCO is currently suggesting arriving 3 hours before departure

I agree. Leave at 930, you should arrive at the airport by 10. Get your bag checked and to security by 1015, through security at 1030. You COULD be at your gate by 10:45.

However, maybe there's a little wait (5 min?) for the car. Traffic is a little heavy so now it's 35 minutes. Ooops, there's a line to get your bag checked, that's now 30 minutes. And look, a lot of people are in the precheck line, that's 30 minutes. Now you're at your gate at about 11:20. You STILL have 10 minutes before they start boarding. Personally, I'm the type that would rather be sitting at the gate for an hour than be a minute late. Once they close the doors, you're not getting on the plane.

I've never left Disney more than 2 hours before our many flights in the past 8 years (since we got PreCheck), including when we've left during Orlando rush hour.
We always check a bag.
Most of the time I have to stop to change clothes since I rarely like to fly in our park clothes (too cold on airplanes)
We've always been at our gate with at least an hour to spare.
Some of these trips have been in Ride Share, some in our rental car.
We depart Disney at the same time no matter how we get there.
I feel 100% confident in that time frame
