What Time of Day Do You Workout?

zachnelli - why didn't you like the windsor pilattes? I've contemplated getting those tapes before.

Dmickey28 - give yourself a short term goal. Say you are going to workout and be good for 2 weeks. See how you feel and look in 2 weeks, I guarantee you'll feel better about yourself and want to continue.

You have to want it bad enough to sacrifice things that keep you at home or things you like to eat. I can't explain it, something just clicks and you say "I'm going to do it" instead of "I have to do it".

I wish I would have been in better shap for my wedding. I really do look back on those pictures with a little regret that I didn't look my best. You'll look at those pictures for the rest of your life, your grandchildren will too.

(When my Mom had her stroke last year , many of the Rehab folks told me that because most seniors have not done strengthening exercises (lifting weights) &they are more prone to end up in Nursing Homes due to no upper body strength, more so than end up there because of illness.


I agree with you so much! I think that upper body strength is so important for women to work on. I have more upper body lifting exercises put into my routine than lower. It makes it so much easier to recover from an injury, if you had been strength training those muscles all along.:D

My co-workers and I work out for 30 minutes of our lunch hour each day. We go to the student rec center (I work at a college) and use the cardio machines (bike, eliptical, treadmill, etc.).
