I voted for 11pm. If I actually were in bed by 11pm each night, I'd be doing ok. LOL DH and I are natural night owls, but our alarms clocks start to go off at 5:45am, so we try hard to get into bed at a decent hour.
I have young kids and am a terrible sleeper. I would love to go to bed early but there is always a lot to do and my mind simply does not relax. I sleep when I can at night. It sounds crazy but I actually prefer to sleep from about 6:30am to about 9:30am or so. I rarely get to do that but I actually enjoy sleeping those hours the most. I think I am probably so exhausted from my thoughts that I simply pass out by then!
My goal is usually 1 am, I love the nighttime and I don't have to be at work until about 11 am, but I also have insomnia and a lot of times don't get to sleep till 2, sometimes even 3 or so.
I try to be in bed by 10, but usually it's closer to 11 or 12. Kids usually take turns torturing me through the hours of 3 and 5, alarm goes off at 5:30.
I have severe insomnia, so anytime I actually manage to fall asleep I'm happy. Even with Ambien and Klonopin, I can't sleep. I'll be awake 2-3 days at a time. Ugh. Anyone wanna trade bodies?
No set bedtime - unless I know I have to go out somewhere in the morning.. Some nights I'm up well past midnight, others I'm in bed by 9 p.m.. Really depends on my mood and how tired I feel..
