What Time is the 4 o'clock Rain? -- Updates 11/2-4 -- Tim's surprise and Marco&Recap

Thank each and every one of you. I have said it before and I will say it again...DIS friends are the best!

I'm sorry I didn't get to responses today. It's been a rough 24 hours and I wonder if the tears will ever stop. I found myself waking up every hour last night because my feet were cold and it dawned on me that it's because Cookie wasn't there laying on them as she did every night for 15 years.

I promise to get to replies and an update no later than the weekend. I just need a little time.

:grouphug:

My dear Kathy, do not give a thought to this thread, other than to feel our love during these difficult days. My heart aches for you because I know so well what you are going through. Cookie is everywhere...right now her missing presence only brings tears...in time, you will feel her presence and she will help your heart find peace. In time, the heart ache will soften. Cookie will always be with you. :grouphug:

Kathy, you have been in my thoughts and prayers the last few days; Don't even worry about getting back to replies and updates anytime soon. All of us out here can wait. You need to mourn, shed a few tears and occassional smile over the wonderful memories of Cookie. In time, you will be ready to resume here on the DIS, and when you do your many KatMark friends will be here ready to read all about it.

Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss. I know Cookie was so precious to you and I can't imagine how terrible it was for you and Mark to lose her.

Kathy, no apologies needed sweetie, you take all the time you need...we all will be here
please do something nice for yourself and Mark this weekend if you feel up to it, even a good snuggle on the couch together :goodvibes

So sorry about Cookie. I hope she finds my Pooper and Toto on the rainbow bridge and they all have fun playing together :) :grouphug:

cold feet warm heart. As everyone has said take the time you need. Know we are here. I have to say, Cookie must have met her twin in heaven. My childhood friend had a furry family member that looked just like Cookie. His name? Cookie. That is the honest truth. I hope your heart fills with all the wonderful memories that some day will comfort those tears. But for now know there are those of us here that know that feeling & grieve for you all in your time of sorrow.
:littleangel:

I am so sorry... Losing a pet is so hard. They really are family members and words can't describe how difficult it is to lose one... Your family is in my prayers. Though, I'm sure Cookie is enjoying heaven, I know that she misses you! Hugs and prayers!

Kathy I am so so very sorry to hear of your loss. IDK if you've ever visited Rainbow Bridge website, but it was an amazing source of support for us when we lost our Brandy. And, of course, all of us here LOVE YA KATHY!!! :grouphug: Take all of the time you need, I will be here my sweet friend

Loved the updates!!
Yay for some DisMeets!

We had a lot of fun with them.

Every little boy (and big ones, too) must stop in to check out the trains. I love the different holidays when they decorate the villages for the seasons.

I agree; we really enjoyed it at Christmas.

Mexico is so neat inside. It's amazing how dark they can keep it in there.

One of my favorite pavilions.

Mark's beer hat photo was :rotfl2:

I think I'm going to buy it for him next time...he looks so cute. ;)

Gonna say it again Loved those PP pix !!! I sure hope we get a pix with Rapunzel , I loved those silly pix with Mark and her !!! PP just doesn't work for the P & P trips as I have to do te Memory books right away and by the time I got the cd they are already mailed in ! Iwould like to do it in December , but I don't think the others are interested , only 2 of us both of whom are technically challenged !!:rotfl2:

Rosie, if you are all travelling together for the entire trip you could split the cost of the Photopass CD and then just pass on the CD when each person si done with it.

Great update! :)

Thank you.

And while I was posting, I spied another update !!! I love the beer mug hat , that is just sooooo Mark!! I promise I will have them do hat pix in his honor this month!! I even got Kyle and Judy doing them last time we went !! They have both given up on getting me to behave , although only Kyle will take pix of me pole dancing!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I count on you to have the group do hat pictures for Mark. Your family should definitely know better by now.

I totally missed the update before this one. :confused3 Anyway, how sweet of you to hand off the Soarin' fastpasses to the newlyweds. I'm sure that they really appreciated it.

They seemed genuinely touched.

Your lunch at Chefs looks absolutely delicious! I wonder if I could get my picky eater to try it one day? Maybe if I told him that Remy makes an appearance, it would sway his decision since he likes the little rat.

Does your picky eater do Grilled Cheese? That's basically what the sandwich is and I'm sure you could ask them to keep them ham off if he doesn't like it.

Another Dis meet! Gotta love meeting up with fellow Disers!

I sure do (and hoping I finally meet you in May).

Luvin all the updates and the photopass pics. They've loads of new frames for them since we went. I love them.. and the beast signature so cool like. :goodvibes

They had some good borders but they were missing some that I had seen last year. :confused3

We tried Chefs this trip all because of you. Thank you! It was amazing and we will definitely be back. I had seen your review of it in a previous TR and just had to try it.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

Apple wine?? I have got to try that next time. Yum!

They didn't have it for sale at the counter. I didn't get that far in my TR, but he tried the apple wine once we got to Marco and let's just say it ended up down the drain. :(

Lovely Epcot photos :goodvibes The world showcase is so beautiful. And I think that stopping to see the train is a mandatory thing if you are travelling with a male :rotfl:

Thank you...glad you enjoyed them. Yep, I've yet to see a woman/girl interested in the train.

Great pics....I could look at pictures of WS all day....every day....gorgeous!

I'm with you Queen...I love WS.

I like her shorter hair.

I do too...I think it's really cute on her.

It's fun to see our newlyweds enjoying life, isn't it? :lovestruc

It really is. Mark posted on his FB today that he is going to Apple Valley, Wisconsin next week for a wrestling recruiting trip. He gets paid to do this. He said he hoped he made enough to cover her shopping excursion to the Mall of America. They keep a sense of humor which is good.

What cute couples! :goodvibes

Awww...thanks MEK.

That dog is adorable, but you know I am really partial to the cat. Sounds like a fun weekend.

Rolo is adorable; but I love my Charleston Chew (the cat).

Nice passing on the FP's when you couldn't use them. I love doing that.

I do too; it's nice to bring a smile to someone's face.

Mmm, your lunch at Les Chefs looks yummy. And Remy is adorable as always.

We really enjoyed it. Love Remy.

You guys are so cute in your PP pictures!

Thanks. :)

That picture of Mark and Rapunzel is just priceless. So perfect.

I couldn't agree more; they were just a hoot doing that together.

Nice seeing Brenda and Em again! And shouting to them from the boat. Because embarrassing friends is always in style. :thumbsup2

Yes it is! :rotfl2:

Rolo is so cute! Such a cute little pupperdoo.

He really is a cute puppy; can't wait to see him at Thanksgiving.

Wow, 12 inches. That's a lot of hair to cut!

Yep, she had really long hair.

In case I didn't mention it - great Photopass pics!! Love the silly face with Rapunzel! She's the perfect one for that kind of thing!

Thanks; and it was funny because it was her idea and not my husband's. :rotfl:

Cute pics from your weekend too - What kind of dog is Rolo? He looks like he'd have a lot of energy!! My DD would LOVE that kitty! So cute!

Rolo is part lab/part pit bull (although the paperwork says boxer because of the pit bull reputation and needing insurance). He has a LOT of energy and loves to play. Charleston is very shy, but once you catch her she will curl up right on your lap.

Cute photo of you and Mark at the bowling ally. The kids have cute ('sweet') names for their pets. :)

All of the pets in the Weber family (Alisha's maiden name) name their pets after candy bars. They have two cats -- Kit Kat and Charleston Chew and now Rolo the dog; her mom's dog is Snickers and her brother's dog is Nestle.

That combo beer mug/sunglasses hat in Germany - hilarious!!:rotfl:

The man is nuts; you saw that for yourself.

I have to hand it to those Fife & Drum guys, those costumes have to be killer in the heat. I like to watch them as well.

I can't imagine wearing their costumes or several others in the heat we had in August.

Thank you for trekking all the way from France to say hi to us. :goodvibes That's funny that I didn't even notice that the hostess was annoyed we were late. I must have been not paying attention. I'm glad that it worked out that we were able to say hi again!

It was our pleasure to do it and see you guys again.

Kathy, I haven't quite caught up yet, and I need to get to bed, but I wanted you to know I saw some comments and I put two and two together. Thinking about Mark and his job situation. It is a hard place to be - I know. I have the confidence everything will be okay for you guys, no matter what happens. PM me if you want to talk. Oh, and is there grandma news? :yay: I know you are beside yourself over that one. Funny Alisha already cut here hair - but it looks really cute! :thumbsup2 I did see the Rapunzel pic on FB - I totally :rotfl2: and woke Jim up last night!

Thanks; there has been some sort of agreement reached and I will fill everyone in when I get to my next update. No grandma news...just that they plan to start trying next year. She wanted something simpler for work and she was going to donate it but they wouldn't take it because it had been permed and dyed too many times. I'm sorry you woke Jim up laughing at the Rapunzel picture...but it was funny.

I think I'm finally caught up! I won't remember a fraction of what I want to comment on, but I have to say that beer hat is top notch. That's what Mr. Mark's hat pics are all about! :goodvibes

Mr. Mark appreciates it; but asks if you thought he should add funny faces with the hat pictures like his face with Rapunzel?

Glad you had a fun visit with the kids! I'm sorry that they won't be able to join you at WDW, but a grandbaby should help make up for that. :lovestruc

We did; and we seen them in a few more weeks. :cheer2: I understand their not going and it's okay...it's for a good reason.

Finally all caught up... and I won't begin to tell you how far behind I was! :lmao: You would think that by now I would know to get a piece of paper and take notes because, as I read, I forget a million things I wanted to say!

I always take notes, and I still forget things. :rotfl2:

I have now seen my all time favorite shirt... I LOVE LOVE LOVE the shirt you had on at AK, with Tigger!!!

Thanks; it's a favorite of mine too. :)

I do have one special request... In December can you leave all the rain at home when you go to Disney??? I have lots of plans that do not include rain... and if you are controlling the weather, a nice mid-70s temp would be great too! :rotfl:

I have requested 80 for a high with no rain for our time. Will that do?

OH! her hair looks great! so do you guys! LOVE the new puppy!!! Rolo is an adorable name!

I like her hair too; we had a lot of fun bowling with the kids. I love the new puppy too and I promised I would not take a bite out of him even though he is named after candy.

what was the interaction with reme??? what does he do???

Remy comes around with the Maitre D (I guess that is who he is) and talks to you and Remy nods. If he talks, I never heard him.

you are quite the celebrity with all your dis meets!!!

We got lucky and met some great people on the trip.

I haven't heard these guys yet. Seems like there's always something to discover at Disney.

We seem to find something every year that we have missed. The next trip our goal is to see the candy lady in Japan.

Norway has the best ride I've ever seen that involves trolls and oil rigs. :confused3:rotfl2:

Yes, I've never figured that out.

Always a good idea.

Yes; he needs to release all of that energy. :lmao:

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

You liked that, did you?

::yes::

I guess I can't complain since us women make you go shopping.

The Rainforest booths are in the main building of Rafiki's Planet Watch kind of across from the vet window. You go in and the booth is completely dark and you listen to sounds from the rainforest through headphones. It was a really neat experience and very realistic. I jumped a few times because it sounded like the animals were right there with you!

I remember those now...we did those our first or second visit there. We'll have to go in them the next trip.

Aw, bummer on the drink being Pina Colada. I really hate coconut. Darn my pickyness! :rotfl:

I hate coconut too...but you don't really taste all that much of it in the drink.

Beautiful pictures from around world showcase!

Thank you.

I got to see that Fife & Drum Corps for the first time in March. They are really fun to watch.

Yes they are, as are the Voices of Liberty.

The beer hat was hilarious! I mentioned to Jim that I would need him to try on hats for pictures while we are there. He didn't even ask why just said "ok".

Jim is learning!

Rolo is so cute! Jim and I almost ended up with a fourth dog this weekend. A little Schnauzer mix puppy came into the shelter I volunteer at but unfortunately whatever he was mixed with triggered Jim's allergies. He's allergic to most dogs, that's why we have the Schnauzers since they don't shed. I was sad but the little guy got adopted less than an hour after Jim and I looked at him.

There are very few breeds that you cannot be allergic to. I'm glad someone came an adopted him quickly.

Oh my goodness, Charleston Chew might be the cutest cat I've ever seen!

I am NOT a cat lover by any means, but I love my Charleston.

The puppy's cute too, of course...really I'm more of a dog person...but that cat is just ridiculously adorable!

I have to agree with you.

(I might be particularly missing our cat today, as we just realized we have mice. Ick!!!)

Eeew....hope you get rid of them soon.

I feel like I missed part of an update in here somewhere...going back now...

No worries at all.

great photos from around the world! love the beer hat :rotfl2:
nice you got to see Brenda and Em again!

great you get to go see Mark coach in a few weeks :) looks like the grandpuppy was happy to see you and Mark! wow love Alisha's hair!
happy you had a fun weekend with them!

Thanks, Lisa. The beer hat was a huge hit. It was fun seeing Brenda and Em again (and spoiler alert..we will see them again).

The grandpuppy had a bit of an accident as he was so excited when we got to the house. I think the hair cut fits Alisha's face perfectly.

Found it!

Good!

You and Mark always look like you're having so much fun in the WS! (I mean, not that I don't have fun, or that other people don't have fun, but you two always look like you're having even more fun than the rest of us!)

That is very sweet of you, Nory...thank you. We are just ourselves, but leave all of our worries at home.

Hooray for a DIS meet! And for WS rides. Even though there's nothing exciting about it, I really enjoy the MExico ride since they put Donald in. It's just cute and relaxing, isn't it?

The Mexico ride is better with Donald; but it reminds me too much of IASW....especially when you get stuck behind 12 boats. :rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl2:DD7 reminded me of all the characters we didn't stop and see last year. Since I'll have DH this trip...I'll be a better Mommy so my DDs can do the meet and greets :goodvibes

We try to do as many as we can and always try to find a new one at least each trip (hence the Princesses this year).

The beer hat was AWESOME, and I spied a Tee for my DMIL (who was born in Germany)...Alisha's hair looks fantastic, she is such a beauty!! And the pet pics are adorable (both names after chocolate candy COOL!!!)

I wanted to buy that t-shirt for Mark ad he wouldn't met me. I agree, Alisha is a beauty and will make me beautiful grandchildren.

Hope things at work are okay for Mark so far...

There has been a resolution which I will explain in the next update.

That beer hat is great...must make a note to buy that for my son in law who isn't traveling with us this year.

I'm glad you liked it!

Wow! Glad you got to have another quick Dis Meet in Mexico. Even better that Mark yelled at them from the boat ride! :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

You guys are all the same.

I have to say, I really like that beer goggles hat. I kind of want one. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Shall I get you one for Christmas? :rotfl2:

Looks like a nice visit to Iowa over the weekend. Who won bowling? :rolleyes1

We won both games against the kids! :woohoo::woohoo:

I've done Fantasia Gardens, but never Winter Summerland. After two fun updates I have read lately, I definitely need to add it to my must-do list!!!

We've done them both. They are both well themed, but Winter is easier.

Epcot is definitely a great way to spend a special day! :goodvibes I remember you really liked Les Chefs when you ate there in December and after another great review, there goes another item on that same must-do list. I either need to quit reading your TR, or start taking a lot more trips to Disney!!! :rolleyes1

Yes it is. You have a good memory about our December. You really need to try it. I'd be sad if you stopped reading. Make more trips.

Some really great PP pics! Some of my favorites are the meet with Jasmine, and Aladdin, and Jasmine, and Jasmine, and............

Got a thing for Jasmine, do you?

The funny face pics with Rapunzel are hilarious. I guess some people didn't need to be in them because that would be, well, redundant???

At first, I didn't think she was serious.

And of course, you happened to get one with your all-time favorite blue character...... ;)

Special request...NOT!

Yep, trains! Always have to stop for the trains!!! :thumbsup2

Now you understand why we always have to stop for shopping.

Great to see the kids so happy and enjoying life together! And Alisha's hair looks really good that length! ::yes::

It is; they are very happy and she is very supportive of his devotion and time commitment to wrestling.

WOW 12 pages behind - probably more I had to catch up over several days and well it just kept getting longer.

I'm sorry, Pat.

I will admit to skimming over most of the chatter - I leave next week and well would like to be caught up only to fall behind again. :lmao:

I do that all the time or I'd never keep up.

You do have so much fun with the PP and character pictures. Cute puppy and beautiful kitty. Alisha's hair looks cute.

We do try to enjoy the characters and have never really had a crabby one (well except Grumpy). I love the animals...they are so cute. Ill tell Alisha everyone likes their hair.

I love your matching Mine Mine Mine up shirts!!! :)

Thank you. :)

Keeping up with the chatter !!! Only 8 days to Disney!!!!!!!!!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

good lord. 6 days and you have I think 6 updates! I can't keep up. I really am trying!!!

I have to get it done...I need to do my PTR. I have slowed down a bit now.

I will be back to look at the PP pics later :goodvibes

I hope you enjoy them when you get to them.

I think it's great you went golfing, how fun is that but bummer that you regretted skipping wishes from the beach later.

Only because we never got to it later in the trip.

I LOVE the skipping Alice picture, how perfect is that!

I thought so too...it looked so natural.

Your Les Chef's lunch looks lovely. I just booked a surprise lunch for the E's and I in Jan after the group leaves (Jeff should be out flying). Eric is dying to eat there. Need to figure out a surprise for Evan too. I'm sad, all this made me think of Bistro 110 in Chicago and just googled it..and it's closed! I used to work there, a bazillion years ago. WAH!

Eric will love it; several restaurants in Chicago have closed. We have to talk soon to see where we are meeting next week.

The kids have a very good reason for not going next year but I can see where that would be a bit of a bummer.

A bummer, but totally understandable if they give me a beautiful grandbaby.

I probably would of walked right by them. We get to hear them often here.

For what?

You were hitting the tequila bar huh? :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Ssssh....don't tell my secrets.

CMs need to loosen up a bit. :rotfl:

Yeah, really. We had quite a few unpleasant ones this trip.

LOLOLOL That's something I would do and then I would immediately get scolded by Melody. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I've given up scolding Mark. :lmao::lmao:

Looks like Mark has his beer goggles on. :drinking1

He should have kept them for the wine he was drinking later.

Okay, I'm going to stop now. I'm caught up until the responses about Cookie and I need another day before I get to those. Today was a better day, but I've not slept the last two nights (miss her sleeping on my feet and keeping them warm). I should be up to it tomorrow or Sunday (have a couple of chores to do tomorrow and Mark will be in Milwaukee all day Sunday to umpire the last tournament of the year).

Kathy Take your time with updates !! You need the time to miss Cookie and then the fond memories will set in:grouphug:

I did want to share with you that Mark and you are part of one of my individuals BSP's (Behavior Support Plan) When she earns her "points" she gets time with staff , she always chooses to look at Mark's Has . Tonight she saw the Beer Hat !! I thought this might bring a smile to both of you!!:grouphug:

Kathy - Heaven will be that much sweeter with Cookie there. I'm so very sorry that your feet are cold at night and that your heart is heavy. I wish I could give you a huge hug. Thinking of you guys! :flower3:

We do try to enjoy the characters and have never really had a crabby one (well except Grumpy).
Not even the Step-Sisters??? :rotfl2:

Thinking of you my friend! Hope you are feeling better, although I know you are still missing your sweet Cookie!

Oh Kathy, I'm so sorry. :sad1: I hope you get better news than you are expecting but if not

Thank you.

Oh Kathy! I am so sorry, you, Mark and Cookie are in my prayers.

Thanks, Cynthia.

Oh Kathy. I know how hard this is. Hugs for all of you

Thank you.

Thanks Bob.

Kathy, I'm so sorry to hear this. Update us when you can.

Thanks, Lisa.

Not good at all. I'm sorry to hear that, Kathy.

Thank you, Andy.

Great updates, love Epcot updates on TR's! :cool1: And your photopass pictures are great! Love wandering around the World Showcase, it's my favorite thing to do in Disney! :thumbsup2

I know that Epcot is your favorite; I agree, there's just something special about walking around WS.

I'm so sorry to hear this, please let us know what happens. Praying for you guys and Cookie. :goodvibes

Thank you, Jen.

So sorry to hear that, kathy.

Thanks, Mark.

:sad1: I'm sorry to hear that....we have a 13 y/o dachshund that I am dreading those days for. At least Rolo will help you along!

Thank you; we do have our grandpuppy which is nice.

I haven't been able to keep up very well, but I am here reading along. You two are so cute, I can't keep away!!!

Thanks. :)

Glad you got to spend some time with the newlyweds

Mark's in town this weekend for recruiting, but I won't get to see him. :(

We'll be here when you are ready to update, no worries....;)

Thank you for understanding.

Sending my love and hugs from the UK Kathy

Thanks, Linda.

So sorry to hear that Kathy. Thinking of you

Thank you, Shannon.

I really enjoy reading your trip reports. You and Mark look like such a great, fun-loving couple. We might be there the same dates next year (8/22 - 8/29) If I see you (or Mark trying on hats) I'll be sure to say hi!!

Please do...I always enjoying meeting DIS friends.

Edited to add: So sorry to hear about your Cookie. P&PT to your family.

Thank you.

   ... pixie dust and prayers for all of you. Such sad news, Kathy, but I am still keeping up hope the outcome is not what you fear for.

Thanks, Karin. I wish it hadn't been the outcome I feared.

you should have bought that hat, just think of how much chips and salsa you could put in that hat for parties.:thumbsup2

i didnt read everyone elses comments so hopefully i didnt copy what someone else said.
:confused3

I guess no one thinks like you.

sending you and Mark big  praying the news will be better than you are thinking...

Thank you, Lisa.

So very sorry for your loss. I know how devastating it is.

Thanks, Christine. This is our second time and it just stinks.

So sorry to hear about Cookie!

Thank you.

Big hugs Kathy. I know this is such a hard time and I hope knowing that your Dad is giving her kisses right now gives you comfort.

It has helped thinking about her being with my dad again...she sure loved him.

So sorry Kathy! Hugs

Thanks for the hugs.

Oh, Kathy and Mark..I am so sorry .... You have given your precious Cookie the most loving gift of all...she is all curled with your dad now...as your heart breaks...you made heaven a little brighter for your dad.

Thanks, Christine. I'm sure dad's hand is already tired from petting her the way he used to.

My love and gentle hugs.

Hugs appreciated.

She was so adorable, Kathy....hard to type through tears....my heart aches so for you.

She was a pretty dog and so lovable.

Kathy, I know that it was hard for you and Mark to make the decision but you did what was best for Cookie. I hope that you are your family take peace in knowing that Cookie is no longer suffering. :grouphug:

I know we did what was best for her, but I never expected it to be this hard.

Kathy Heaven is a Lucky place today !!! Cookie has joined your Dad:cloud9:Treasure your memories !! Cookie will always be with you in your hearts:hug:

Yes, heaven is lucky...they got a gem in my puppy.

Kathy, You have been on my mind all day long. Cookie was so fortunate to have a family that cared and loved for her the way you all did. It will not be easy anytime soon, but remember and cherish the wonderful years you had with her.

Thanks, Bob, and thank you for the PM's...it is truly appreciated it.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Thank you very much.

Oh, Kathy, my heart is breaking for you and Mark. :-( I am so sorry...that is the most difficult decision to have to make for a pet, but Cookie's in a much better place now; fully healed, and happy. Thinking and praying for you all.

I never knew my heart could break as badly as it did on Wednesday night. I like to think she is a puppy again and getting into all kind of mischief.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your precious pup. I know you've been fearing and dreading this day for a long time.

Thank you, Claire.

So sorry, Kathy. I know how hard this time must be for you.

Thanks, Linda. Harder than I ever imagined.

Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss.

Thank you, Karin.

My heart goes out to you. I am so sorry.

Thanks, Jen.

Sorry for your loss Ms. Kathy! I know how precious Cookie was to you and your family! Sending love and pixiedust: for good thoughts and special memories!!!

Thank you, friend. I appreciate it very much.

Kathy and Mark , my sincerest condolences. RIP Cookie.

Thank you, D.

What a sweet little face! So sorry for your loss. She looks to have been very well loved! Keeping you guys in my thoughts today.

Thanks; she did have a sweet face, didn't she?

so sorry to hear about Cookie, keeping you both in my prayers and sending

Thank you, Lisa, for all.

Oh Kathy I am still crying after reading this. So sorry:grouphug:
I am sitting here with my pup on my lap but I lost my Bailey 2 1/2 years ago and I still think of him. I said no more dogs for me and then my daughter emailed me a picture of this little rescue pup who needed a home and then I adopted my Oliver who is 1 1/2 and my constant companion. I am lucky that either my daughter or a good friend will take him whenever we go away.

I'm sorry I made you cry. I thought I had used up everyone's tears the way I've cried since Wednesday. Give your pup a hug for me.

Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss.

Thanks, Nory.

Oh Kathy and Mark - I am so very sorry for your loss... Our pets are our children - please take all the time you need to heal, because they are such an important part of our famlies. I completely understand your heart ache - as we had to put our beloved Rufus down 2 years ago - and it was one of the most awful things I have ever gone through. (((Many Hugs))) to both of you.

D~

They certainly do become a member of the family as soon as you bring them home. We were blessed to have her for 15-1/2 years.

Kathy I am so so sorry. I've been though more times than I care to count and it never gets easier. Big hugs to you and Mark.:hug:

Thanks, Ali.

I am so sorry to hear about Cookie :( It is so hard. **Big Hugs** Our pets are such a huge part of our lives.

Thank you for the hugs and the words.

Oh Mo, as much as that made me cry, it was perfect. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This is very touching and beautifully captures what we are all trying to say :sad1:

Thanks, Ruthie. You are a good friend.

Thanks friend!

My dear, sweet Kat. You take all the time you need. You know we're all here for you, I wish there were something we could do.
You are loved and cherished as one of our dear, Dis sisters, when you grieve we grieve with you.
I've been thinking of you a lot today. Praying peace and comfort over you and Mark.

Thank you, Camille. I truly appreciate it more than you know.

:grouphug:

Christine, all I can say is THANK YOU!

Thanks, Bob. I posted on FB when do the tears stop? I'm beginning to think they never will.

Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss. I know Cookie was so precious to you and I can't imagine how terrible it was for you and Mark to lose her.

Thank you; she was truly our baby.

Kathy, no apologies needed sweetie, you take all the time you need...we all will be here
please do something nice for yourself and Mark this weekend if you feel up to it, even a good snuggle on the couch together :goodvibes

Thanks, Lisa. I did go out today and get a pedicure and I took Mark out to eat last night. We needed a night out desperately.

So sorry about Cookie. I hope she finds my Pooper and Toto on the rainbow bridge and they all have fun playing together :) :grouphug:

Thanks, Emma. I'm sure her and Pooper and Toto are having a blast together.

cold feet warm heart.

What a wonderful story...thank you for sharing that with me. And thank you for being there.

I am so sorry... Losing a pet is so hard. They really are family members and words can't describe how difficult it is to lose one... Your family is in my prayers. Though, I'm sure Cookie is enjoying heaven, I know that she misses you! Hugs and prayers!

Thank you so very much; we sure miss her.

I've heard of that site; I've not gotten to the point that I can go there just yet, but I do have it bookmarked for one day soon I hope.
