GrammyJudy, we've not done magic bands. I think we can get them, but so far Mary and the girls cannot so we are waiting for them.

Once I start my PTR for the December trip, we are going to talk about a big DIS meet. There are so many on this TR that are going to be there, that I'm hoping we can arrange one big meet. Or at least a couple of small ones.

we got our MB ordered and all our FP+ made can't wait to use them!

Ok, have to share my rainy day picture/video from Epcot March 2011. We had never experienced rain like this before!

I've only seen rain like that once and it was 2 years ago in October where it rained liked that for 2 days straight. Thankfully it cleared up just in time for my niece and nephew's arrival for their first trip. I did get soaked trying to get groceries at Walmart!

Sorry bout the rain ruining your night in Magic Kingdom.

I think Disney should start paying you for modelling their hats and posting them on the boards so people can see all the new hats

They were actually really good in Tusker house with us with characters they made sure we had seen them all before we left and because we missed the main Mouse they brought him out to a little corridor just for us I'm sure they would have done the same for you had you missed Goofy

I have yet to do Splash since they put in the lap bars.
LTT is a good meal for lunch. Nice they gave you the proclamation and mug.

Going to back to a couple of your responses to my replies-

I always wondered why the line for Peter Pan is so long all the time. I suspect that since it is a low capacity ride/slow loader (kind of like Dumbo) and since it is a ride everyone in the family can enjoy (again, like Dumbo), the lines build up. We love Peter Pan, but the only time we will ride is first thing in the morning or with a FP.

You also commented about how your tennis shoes were wet for at least two days. We experienced that on our trip during Tropical Storm Faye in 2008. I think my shoes are still wet!!!

I'll add my favorite storm picture to the collection. The boys can hardly walk because the wind is whipping:

After visiting the dinosaurs, we decided to slowly make our way to Kilimanjaro Safaris for fastpasses after our breakfast ADR. A few photos along the way:

I LOVE your pictures of EE. The silhouette shot and picture of the riders coming out of the mountain are fantastic. Also love the redneck ride photo of Mark.

The Dino ride photo is great too. Looks like you had a bunch of posers riding along with you.

The knit hat Mark is modeling in the dino dump shop may be my favorite so far.

Or it was until I saw you wearing the giraffe ears! That would make a really great addition to a Halloween costume!

I am officially jealous of you for meeting up with Brenda and Emmy and of them for having a chance to meet up with you too! What nice pictures from your get together.

We have been to the Tusker House breakfast once- we enjoyed the food and the character interaction.

Thats some bad rain. I have only experienced it there a few times and it always sucks that it is changing your plans. I hate wet shoes!!!!

I have yet to try Tusker House. In general I feel like I have a lot more exploring to do in Animal Kingdom. For example, I had no idea there were crocodiles in Dinoland! In fact I think I've only been in Dinoland once.

Echoing the comments of others in being thankful your brother's surgery was a success and hoping all works out on the job front.

I know in May 2009 in May it was the wetttest week in 50 years at WDW!!!!!I am not sure if I took pix, but the good thing was the parks were empty and rides were walk on!!!!

Your photos of EE are great. The area is so beautifully themed, there is so much to look at.

I agree; it is one of my favorite themed area.

We have not been on Dinosaur in ages. Your photos just made me remember that we really need to fit it in next time we get to AK.

I missed it the last two years I think since Mark is leery to ride it since his neck surgery.

I'm surprised you will ride Dinosaur but not EE. I find Dinosaur (although I love it) to be much jerkier than EE. I also find SM to be worse than EE. Is it the backwards part that gets you?

The jerky part does not bother me; it's the up and down and backwards that bothers me.

I think the best hat ones this time are the Sully hat and the Elephant Ears headband. The headbands with the tails are all very cute and that's the first time I've seen those ones. Oh, and the red hard hat made him look like a Minion! Yeah, I know, wrong park.

I liked the Scully hat too; it was the first we had seen the headbands too.

Your dinosaur friend looks like he is about to goose Mark!

Loved Tusker House breakfast buffet!! This year we ar doing CP and GG and Akrhaus !!! I suck in 3 character meals this trip, and I don't think Carol knows yet!! Next yar I am eiter doing Tusker house ,or CP for breakfast !!!

Rosie, we really enjoy it too. But I don't think we'll be back for awhile...service was really bad this last visit. I think we'll stick with CP for awhile. We are doing Garden Grill for the first time in at least 15 years in December.

Now that is what I call the highlight to any trip to WDW; a visit with the main man himself. You all thought it is Mickey, but Goofy is truly the main man in WDW.

Bob, you crack me up! We did enjoy seeing Goofy two days in a row though.

YAY for a dismeet. Just like you, I always keep missing Brenda as well. It seems like you two are always checking in when we are checking out or in this case - the opposite. One day !!

That Tusker House ham is soooo good! We love the character breakfast experience there. I like the colorful plates and bowls they have there, too.

The ham was very good. And I think part of Tusker House's charm is the colorful theme (plates, bowls, etc).

I've not eaten at Ohanas since it used to be Minnie's Menehue Restaurant and was a buffet. I'm not a fan of family style...especially if they are serving food I don't like (eggs).
