Boy did we get one heck of a thunderstorm yesterday afternoon! At one point we had about 8" of water in our backyard! After the storm finally passed I went outside and measured the watermark that was left on our shed! My pool was actually overflowing, along with my basement!

Gotta love those summer thunderstorms!

I can't even tell you the last time I had to actually drag out the hose and add water to the pool, for the past couple weeks...I've had to drain water out of it! Yesterday afternoon it was just coming over the top of it...never seen that happen before, it was kind of wild!

I was just talking to my dad, he said that his water gauge said we got 5-1/2 inches of rain between Thursday and yesterday..and I'm sure some of it evaporated on Saturday!

I read that since he has the luxury of only playing whenever he wants to, where he wants to, most of his concerts are in the tropics now. Not a bad way to live. BTW, 1:32 and 91 degrees, super sunny.
