OK OK OK, I am getting REALLLLLY sad …… just heard a rumor that IRENE is coming to visit New England as well as DH & I … ??? Who is IRENE you all ask … well IRENE is a HURRICANE!!!!!!!!!

In the meantime, while I pack and clean the abode (9:04am) it is bright sun in San Diego, lovely 72 degrees.

Saw on the news this afternoon, might be coming our way Sunday. But of course they say keep watching for updates.


Really nice today, 75 degrees and no humidity. Now I also saw that humidity returns on Thursday and then back on Sat.

Rain finally came by our house last night and you know that old saying "When it rains, it pours." We had a good down pour last night. DW and I joked and said "we thought Irene was on the East Coast?!" There was a lot of wind, lightning and thunder with that down pour. Then a nice steady rain for about an hour after the main down pour passed us by. All kidding aside, we're still far from drought relief, but the rain was a welcome sight.

Nice and cool this morning. Cloudy and it was lighty sprinkling when I came to work this morning. 8:50 am and it's currently 69 degrees.

All our East coast Dis'ers. Stay safe. Hope Irene doesn't impact you as bad as we're hearing on the news.

It's 3:57p and 81 degrees, I think the humidity is going up a little today. Feels a little more muggy this afternoon. Oh well that's ok, going to Florida in three weeks so must get use to it again.

Same here went from being cold to very hot and humid, sure hope we have a fall. Not looking forward to being COLDagain.

We are supposed to hit 100 today. It's been just beautiful the past week, windows open, AC OFF but we are having a freak temperature spike today . Back into the 70's tomorrow for the weekend.
