Its 18 here at 7:30 pm with 2 to 3 inches of snow and snow still falling. We are expecting a total of 6 to 10 inches by Tuesday am. Ugh kids keep asking if they have school tomorrow. Guess they won't make a decision till early morning. I have two wanting school and one who doesn't! Either way, I will have to try to make it to work. My oldest can babysit if they don't have school, sometimes I wish I was a school teacher!:goodvibes

School is closed here tomorrow!! We are having ice & snow tonight, which is a rare occurrence for us. I just hope that we don't lose our power because it's COLD outside. I think the low is 28 tonight.

I hope you have a great flight and a great time! If it can't be Mickey good friends are good too :woohoo:

Thanks!

It's 10:13a and 22 degrees, with a wind chill of 9 brrrrrr! The sun is out:banana:

It's 9:48a and 19 degrees, sun was out but now fading:sad2:

Here in upstate NY at 10:15 am it is about 19 degrees and cloudy. We are expecting another 7 - 10 inches of show starting at mid-night tonight.....can't wait for that. :sad2:

I wish we had some of the snow everyone else has, to go along with it being cold. I knew this nice weather was too good to last.

It's warmed up a bit since I came in to work this morning. Was only 7 degrees when I came to work. Wind chill made it feel like a minus -10.

Now at 9:21 am, we're up to 14 degrees with the wind chill making it feel like -3.

Golden Corner South Carolina and it is 33 F with winter weather advisories for black ice on the roads and winds W @ 1mph it is 11:25 AM

8:48am in SUN Diego! :sunny: Coolish now 55 :cold: degrees. On its way to 68. :woohoo:

We are on one incredible roll now folks. No more horrid rain, bright sun shining down and fabulous temps for JAN! :cool1:

SUE, SUE, SUE, sweetie, what the HECK is going on in New England??? :headache: Ugh. :headache: Another storm brewing in the Northeast. Sweetie, I so hope you get "out of Dodge" before the skies open up and the first flakes start falling.

I remember one time (2005) my whole family and sisters and their families had this big trip planned for TAMPA. We were all off to see our parents. It was JAN.
Well, Thursday (before our trip) the News starts with a HUGE storm to hit the Northeast for Sunday. Ugh.
We were all taking JETBLUE out of Logan. One DSis called JB and they changed our Sunday flights to Saturday (free of charge and this was on the Thursday before). We were all thrilled.
We literally just threw stuff in our suitcases on Friday. Raced to the airport on Saturday and the news is horrible ... huge storm ... huge! All the chatter at Logan was the storm. Now instead of Sunday it is coming Saturday afternoon. Ugh. We all board our 2pm flight and all the passengers are (happily) yelling, "get this plane OUT OF HERE now" ... hahahaha ... it was AWESOME! :dance3:
Boom, we land in Tampa, the sun is shining :sunny: the temps are amazing and the Northeast has been POUNDED I mean a blizzard that was horrific. I think the kiddos were out of school for 3 days anyway. I don't think we will ever forget getting our butts out of there as the skies are opening up and we can literally see the snow falling with fierce.

36 degrees in Madison Alabama (outside Huntsville) and the roads look like someone tossed a big sno-cone on them!! But the snow is still pretty.....:)

I don't know, Kar! This is why I HATE it here! One thing I hope is in our favor, we don't leave for Florida till 5:35p on Thursday. Storm hits tonight till sometime on Wed. They say we could get 8-10 inches here in Nashua:scared1:
Your story Kar reminds me of the time we were going to WDW, we were leaving on a sat and they said a hurricane was coming(up here in New England). So we called the airline and changed our flight to friday before the storm hit. We got to spend one more day in Orlando it was great!
It's 2:16p and 27 degrees.

No good stories here ;) 28 degrees, not a lick of sun. The snow starts around 10pm and we should have about 18" by 8am. I get off at 12am so it shouldn't be too bad by the time I get home. Don't have to be back until 4 pm tomorrow.

Well it stopped snowing. We ended up with over a foot. 36 degrees but feels like 17 and the sun keeps trying to poke its head out.

It is 10:32am and still only 32 degrees. We're not used to this kind of cold! Gray skies, too. I wish we had at least a little snow, but I doubt that will happen.

Oh good, I am sure you will be fine by Thursday eve! Good! Oh, I have heard so many stories of 'getting stuck in Orlando', those are awesome stories ... more time FOR VACATION!!! :cool1:

Bright sun today in San Diego! Actually going to bright sun all week! Yeah!

8:50am 55 degrees now, on its way to 72!! :sunny:

Cloudy here today. Minimal chance of snow. Still cold, but not as cold as the past couple of days.

9:51am and it's currently 21 degrees. Wind chill making it feel like 13.

SNOWING! It's 1:41p and 27 degrees, with snow and wind!

Not sure how much we got, but I have been out twice with the snow blower to clear the driveway. I would say at least a foot of that stuff out there and it's still coming!:sad2:

We got a lot of snow back in Southern Maine yesterday. Our house has been sitting empty for a few weeks now, and will be empty until we close on it next Thursday. I am SO afraid something is going to happen to it before we close on it. We called this morning to have the driveway plowed and to have someone clear a path to the front door. We know the thermostat is set at 60, but I hate not being there and seeing for myself that all is well inside and out.

I hope this will be the last big storm for awhile!

nhpooh- Have fun in Florida! I hope the weather is warm and sunny! We're heading to St. Pete's Beach the end of next week!:cool1:

Heading for a high of 71 degrees here in Tucson today.
