8:48am in SUN Diego!

Coolish now 55

degrees. On its way to 68.
We are on one incredible roll now folks. No more horrid rain, bright sun shining down and fabulous temps for JAN!
SUE, SUE, SUE, sweetie, what the HECK is going on in New England???

Ugh.

Another storm brewing in the Northeast. Sweetie, I so hope you get "out of Dodge" before the skies open up and the first flakes start falling.
I remember one time (2005) my whole family and sisters and their families had this big trip planned for TAMPA. We were all off to see our parents. It was JAN.
Well, Thursday
(before our trip) the News starts with a
HUGE storm to hit the Northeast for Sunday. Ugh.
We were all taking JETBLUE out of Logan. One DSis called JB and they changed our Sunday flights to Saturday
(free of charge and this was on the Thursday before). We were all thrilled.
We literally just threw stuff in our suitcases on Friday. Raced to the airport on Saturday and the news is horrible ... huge storm ... huge! All the chatter at Logan was the storm. Now instead of Sunday it is coming Saturday afternoon. Ugh. We all board our 2pm flight and all the passengers are (happily) yelling, "get this plane OUT OF HERE now" ... hahahaha ... it was AWESOME!

Boom, we land in Tampa, the sun is shining

the temps are amazing and the Northeast has been POUNDED I mean a blizzard that was horrific. I think the kiddos were out of school for 3 days anyway. I don't think we will ever forget getting our butts out of there as the skies are opening up and we can literally see the snow falling with fierce.
