Starting out to be a lovely day. Sun is out , no wind; yet (supposed to get windy later on in the day). Cool but not cold.

Current temp at 8:14a is 56 degrees.

It's 11:52a and 68 degrees, a very nice day!

It is 2:40pm and 81 degrees although with the breeze it feels a lot cooler. We are suppossed to get rain this afternoon.

Well it was just lovely today. It's 62 right now at 9:28. Tomorrows is suppose to be 80 and no humidity. Why is that a big deal?? We are headed to south east Mecca aka WDW for a week stay at the poly. Hence the nice weather on Long Island

Have fun!! Sure when you go away it gets nice, maybe it will be nice when you get back too

Remember though, it is a dry heat! No humidity, but the sun is a scorcher!

That is exactly like Southern California, luv ... dry heat, none of that horrific east coast humidity!!!

momrek06- I know, right! 95 degrees in Tucson doesn't feel at all like 95 degrees in New England. No doubt it's hot, but it IS a different kind of hot.

My husband and I are flying back to Maine in two weeks to visit friends/relatives and to check up on our house. Oh, and to eat. We have a different restaurant picked out for each day, mostly seafood places. I also need to go shopping at LLBean, the Christmas Tree Shop and in Kennebunkport.

luv, last August I flew home for the whole month and it was probably the WORST humidity EVER!

Last summer we were actually walking around Disneyland in 100 degree weather but it was doable!

My parents are just back from FL now 2 weeks on Drakes Island!! They have been having some great weather so far!

Mike tried calling me yesterday walking around base camp ... I could not understand a word he was saying. He said the wind was INTENSE. He had to call me back when he was inside the community center. I am glad you have sun!!!!!


8:14am in San Diego. 63 degrees. We are now going through what Southern Californian's call "Gray May" ... where it will be overcast until about 9am THEN our sun comes out!


EDIT - Ok, now it is 8:15am and the sun is peeking out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wind is so typical in NM in the spring. I despise it, too. But as my mom always said, "You don't have to shovel wind."

I feel your pain. Still windy here to. They're supposed to calm down over the weekend. I guess I'll wait and see.

The sun is still out though. Currently 57 degrees at 8:15a.

Thumper, Mike called last night to say he is EITHER sunburned or windburned ... he said it was a nice sunny day BUT the wind was brutal! Mike and three of the Rangers are all driving to Colorado Springs for the weekend. My Bro, Col in USARMY is at his home in Colorado Springs for the month of May before he heads to Afghanistan (June) so Mike realllllly wants to see his Uncle before he heads overseas.

Probably a combination of both. I went for my walk/run yesterday. I got a little burned in just the hour I was out there.

My thoughts, prayers and thanks go with your brother and all the troops. I really appreciate all they do for our country.

11:32a. Winds have died down a little now. At least here in Santa Fe. Current temp is 64.
