6:25am in San Diego. Just returned from the airport as DH & I droved off our son for his 5 month trip to the BSA Scout Reservation in Cimarron, NM. He will be working there until August as a Ranger.

Still darkish here, 55 degrees.

It's 74 and raining. I guess this means the weed path (oh I mean lawn) will have to get mowed again.

Hope you packed some heavy jackets for your son. Slight chance of raining there today and possibly snow later on in the week. A nice cool down headed in on Thursday. Still windy throughout the whole state.

8:34a in Santa Fe, NM. Wind is calm at the moment, but supposed to kick up later on in the day. Current temp is 47.

It's 1:40p and 60 degrees with partly cloudy skies. Sure where going to get rain Like WHEN!!!!! The flowers would like a drink...

YIKES, Thumper, he just called, he is all settled in to his TENT!!! With the Scouts not arriving until late May, he thought that all the Rangers might have inside bunks ... NOPE. He is fine though, he has a fab LLBEAN sleeping bag and many layers of clothing for the ever changing New Mexico temps!!!

I do too! I wish it would rain already, this cloudy and cool is not what I want....We have cloudys one second and then the sun trys to come out We do need some rain, but just wish it would happen already!

Same here. We have all these threats of rain, but no rain. All it manages to bring is the D@#N Winds.

Rain? Clouds? What are those?

Just kidding. I used to live in New England. Believe me, I know all about day after day of clouds and drizzle. I really disliked March, April and May because I knew people in other parts of the country were enjoying warm weather.

It is 12:54 here in Tucson with beautiful sunny skies and a temp of 83. I just spent an hour pulling weeds from between rocks and pavers, and that sun is HOT!
