what time is check-in at the port?

What time do they start check-in at the port? Is it really busy during the first hour or does it pick up after that?

last week it was 11:30 and we were allowed to board at 12:30.

Entry to the Port area is at 10:00 am and official check-in starts at 10:30 am.

We have always found not too busy first thing but it gets much more croweded at around 11:15 or so....
