Hello!

We should be landing at MCO (all goes well) at 11:11 a.m...my question is what time should I make a lunch adr near the EPCOT area keeping the following factors in mind...we are taking the ME to the Beach Club hotel and have to check in.

Would 1:30 be a good time? I was thinking about Chefs De France for lunch

Personally, I don't like to make lunch ADR's for arrival day. I'd be stressed and worried about the flight being late, waiting for ME........and so on  I do love Les Chefs de France, so I would recommend dinner ADR's and plan to grab a quick CS lunch after you arrive. JMHO :goodvibes

I agree with you but I am going with 6 people so I just wanted to be prepared....maybe we can just walk over to the Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club from what I hear its pretty easy to just walk in and not have to worry about ADRs

Captains Grille would be a good choice, or Beaches & Cream :goodvibes I like to start at Hurrican Hannah's with a nice little umbrella drink to get my vacation started :drinking1

Hi. Like you, we will also be arriving around 11:15am and will be staying at the Beach Club. I made reservations for the Crystal Palace at 5:00. No matter where we stay, we "have" to go to the Magic Kingdom before any other parks-it's a rule! LOL I'm thinking that by the time we get to the hotel it will be at least after 1pm, and probably later. We can grab a quick snack at Beaches and Cream then head over to the Magic Kingdom. Hopefully we'll be able to catch a ride or two before dinner. Once we've eaten, the night is ours to spend in the park. We always do Future World at Epcot the second day....that's a rule, too! After the parks we like to walk over to the Boardwalk to relax a little. Can't wait--down to 124 days!:tigger:

I think when I flew last time we arrived around 2 , well the plane arrived then & I had ADR's at 5 & made them.

This time we arrive just before 11 & my ADR is for 5 again so I will have even more time.

I would not make an lunch adr.I arrive at 1100 am too, and my adr is at Cape May at 6:00p. I also made it for a resturant at the resort, and one that I won't be devastated if we miss it.

My wife and I have always arrived at MCO around 11am the past 5 trips. We tried to make a lunch ADR for 1pm once and didn't make it. We were staying at POR and were having lunch at DHS. It was raining in Orlando and the planes were landing a bit late. We always make a dinner ressie instead and grab a real quick lunch at Chic-a-Filet :worship: (or whatever it is called) at MCO because we don't have those in Minnesota and they are good to us! We usually eat on the ME bus to the resort. popcorn::
