I have heard that they have a wide variety of items on their menu and may be better making a later breakfast reservation say 10:00 A.m. or so. Any opinions. Thanks

Just in my experience, I booked an ADR prior to park opening on an EMH morning and we were done after the park opened for EMH. It defeated the reason that we booked an early ADR - so we could eat and then enjoy EMH. It was a lot of fun and the food was decent. I say a late breakfast is better.

We had an 8:30 am ADR only because DH and DS4 were going on the 10am Discovery Wildlife Tour. Otherwise, I would have made it for 10am (like I plan to this June).

The buffet offered so much variety it could easily be a brunch. They had quiche, carved ham, cheese blinzes, etc.... Oh and Krispy cream donuts! :yay:

I think if you do a 10am ADR you can easily skip lunch and make do with a light snack midday.:thumbsup2 I believe 10:30 is the last breakfast ADR.

If AK is an EMH morning, I would recommend a 10:00am ADR. If AK was not, I would recommend an 8:00am ADR. Once your finished breakfast, you can leave the resturant. If you're out of breakfast by 9:00am, you beat the rush of people from the park entrance to the safari and you get to be on one of the first safaris of the day.

The OP is referring to menu variety not park hours. We recommend a late breakfast based on the MENU.

We just returned yesterday from wdw and we had done a 10:20 breakfast at Tusker House. Our grandson still got the character breakfast experience but the rest of us had a great brunch, didn't eat again until much later that night. It worked out perfectly for us.
