What time for no waits at Beaches and Cream?

We will be at Disney in the end of May through early June. We are staying at the Dolphin for part of our trip, and were hoping to make an ice cream sundae stop at Beaches and Cream at least once. I don't want to go when it will be crowded, though. Is there a time of day when there are generally no waits? If we were to try for, say, 4 pm just for snacks, would that be a safe choice? Thanks!

Since they only have about 10 small tables, there's no way to tell. The best bet is when they first open.

We went around 3:30pm one day & only had a 10-min. wait. I didn't think that was bad at all. When we left around 4:30 there were about 10 people outside waiting to go in. We went in the evening once & it was an hour wait.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I'm curious to know if there is an hour or so wait, can BC guests swim while waiting? Or, could I wait in the immediate area while my family swims and when we are called or paged, gather up my family and head on in? Or, does everyone in the party need to be present and sit right there waiting? Or, do they not even take names? Is the line formed and they take the first people in line, then the next and so on?

Thanks for any info on how the waiting works. Thanks!

If I recall, they hand you a flashing beeper when they take your name. We usually wander to the arcade next door to pass the time. I also seem to remember that there is an ice cream only takeout line.

The second time my family and I went to Beaches & Cream this past December was on a Sunday night at 8:30 PM and we walked in right away and got our table without a wait. However just because that happened to us doesn't mean someone else will have the same success if they went on the same date and time, because they could easily try that and need to wait for a table. So basically we were very lucky that we didn't have to wait for a table.

They do take names. The pool is huge though so I am not sure you could round them up quickly. There is also a fence between Beaches and Cream and the pool so I am not sure you could just call them when it is your turn.

If the wait is an hour, I would probably have them get out at about 45 minutes so they could dry off and such.

Have fun! We love the Beach Club pool!

Thanks for the responses thus far. It's good to know that they give beepers and there is an arcade nearby to kill time!

Can you get any of the sundaes - including the kitchen sink - from the takeout line? And are there benches nearby so we could eat the ice cream if we went the takeout route instead? I think lots of folks will be stopping by for ice cream since it will likely be quite hot out...
